I just warped to a sun so it’s still possible. If you were at the sun and then tried to warp to the sun again you would get that message. Or you may have been in a bubble, but I think that gives a different message ---

You were in warp while you were spamming warp several times a second. The “unable to warp” message comes, I think, if you are trying to warp to some object on grid that you cannot warp to. Either because it is within 150km, or because it isn’t a warpable object (certain LCO’s, drones and ships.) So several scenarios come to mind: - You warped to the sun, and then tried to warp to the sun again. Then you got killed at the sun. - You were spamming warp while still in warp, and got locked a few seconds later after you’d landed. - You misclicked, and were trying to warp to something that was not the sun. ---

None of us understand why you do anything other than warp 2 seconds after gaining control of your ship in system. IMO you - set your ship into motion to decloak yourself, - reloaded your probe launcher - recloaked yourself - failed to cancel your motion, which lead to you decloaking yourself on an object. There is also an object on every gate grid that is capable of tangling up a warp so you can’t align. IMO your logs, timings and everything are all consistent with you submarining into the gate. ---
