They had their ups and downs and pulled a lot of ■■■■ over the years, but the massively dumbing down and themeparkerizing of EVE started with Seagull in 2013. That was the major turning point that lead us to where we are now. ---

No Unifex started to turn it around with Crucible and Retribution and brought the PCU back up to pre Incarna levels. Seagull then took over and started an unabashed campaign of “F U” to pvp’ers and suffocated whatever content players were still able to eek out of nullsec (ie, reffing moon mining POS for weekday content). ---

While it is all nice and good what they intend and say here… … it’s CCP, so I don’t buy the “We need to empower eve-online with natural chaos built into the system.” I fear another half backed attempt which gets abandoned after half a year and then it’s back to stupid PvE minigames. Hope they prove me wrong, but I kinda lost my faith. ---

also in the early days of eve for a couple of months at least there was NOTHING on the market but maby some tritainium proj ammo…and dam little else for a long time. the heck going back to that. ---
