For CCP, Eve online market is a form of market simulation tool for their own country, so yeah, they do keep close eyes on the market prices, including Plex. ---

@CCP_Falcon this is @Carrie-Ann Moss alt. I guess you banned me from forums? Where is the email? I cant even log in under Carrie to read the reason for my punishment? No temp bans? Just 1 warning for spamming and then just total block of even logging in?? Dont I get the rules I broke sent to me? How can i not even log in under Carrie? thats an outright lie. going from 2m to 4m is double and thats where the price is heading. also theres a graph that shows the initial plex spike where you made the first dev blog announcing the granular plex change which is by definition announcing youre going to interfere in the plex market. prices havent dropped since. first time i plexed my account several months ago i did it for 900m roughly, most recently it was up to 1.7-1.8b that is double. and by controlling the plex market you can increase youre own revenue ---

I am logged in right now and it is just under 3.2 million in Perimeter. Last time it was 2 million was at the end of 2016. Well before “CCP broke PLEX”. And yes, the price has gone up. CCP has linked PLEX to more and more features meaning the demand has gone up so the price must go up unless there is a commensurate increase in supply. Further, change so that 500 nuPLEX = 1 oldPLEX means that people can buy PLEX piecemeal so that likely had an effect too. And small skill injectors probably played a role as well. Your options for a solution are very limited here. CCP is unlikely to roll back these changes. CCP is unlikely to offer a sustained decrease in OOG PLEX prices. And you probably won’t have much luck nerfing in game incomes without a massive outcry from players. ---

@CCP_Falcon The question isn’t really whether or not you will intervene in the Plex market. I don’t think there are many people that expect direct market intervention in the first place. The question is if you are going to intervene in the changes that cause this price drive in the first place, namely the carrier isk faucets and skill point farms. ---

They tried that and the caterwauling and vitriol from the players was immense. It was huge, stupid and ridiculous. SP farms are not an ISK faucet. ---

I didn’t say SP farms are ISK faucets? I said they are a part of what causes the high plex prices. They consume large amount of plex. Every skill injector created by sp farms consumes 238 plex or so. ---

after they just had a sale to try and drop it because no one can stop the rise. i paid 1.7b a little over a week ago to plex. it was not 3.2 and its not going to stay 3.2 its going right back up towards 4 and its gonna pass 4 if they dont fix the granular plex fiasco which was a bad decision. the price has rised exponentially i played in 2009, and i remember the 300m plex prices, my myrmidon also only cost around 20m and no one used rorquals cause they were useless. plex went up back then. you can go and look at the graphs and see the spike yourself it cant be hidden. its not natural inflation and its not increased demand. ---

lol no it hasnt. dont lie. its 8/3, i plexed on 7/26. lowest price in game was high 3.5s and it was impossible to actual buy one of those orders before it instantly dissapeared. ---

I’ve been checking plex price for a while now: in Jita, Amarr, and elsewhere. It’s 3.2. Did try to go up but was stabilized at 3.2. If you haven’t noticed, market is also PvP. it is currently right now during a dump, theres been several but its gonna go right back up and it has not been stable at that price for :weeks: furthermore stability is not a quality measured over a span of 2-3 days. ---

you are absolutely mad as a hatter if you think that CCP will ever get involved in market manipulation. why would they? it has nothing to do with them; the market is 100% driven by player supply and demand. if you don’t like it, do something about it yourself. pay $15 for a month sub, go gank some miners with CODE. or join one of the null block rental empire corps and make dank 260m ticks yo. Just stop complaining cause it’s getting old. ---

There was one day where plex hit 3.5m. But I am not sure if I can really believe you. You claimed that plex price was soon going to hit 4m but the market trends shows otherwise. Its going down actually and has been fairly stable overall. youre clearly not looking at the sell orders of whats available daily. the entire stock was well above 3.5 its not market pvp when you have to renew your gametime. its either that or sit in station with skills frozen and locked ships. ---

Well, I have and the market data shows. I’ve been checking Jita, Amarr, and few selection mission hubs. 3.5 is true at mission hubs away from main market. Otherwise, it’s been 3.2 on average.
