Ok, I get that. But what I dont get is why that should be what makes NS a “riskier” place than, say, the possibility of a natural disaster, or invasion by another faction or larger rats? ---

My impression is that Salvos is just upset that somewhere in EVE people might be having more fun than him. He seems to be working from a very limited understanding how the various ecosystems in EVE interact. He complains about CCP favoring large nullsec blocs, and his solution would be to deny insurance in non-NPC nullsec. A solution which would vastly favor well-established mega coalitions.
