Btw, the absolute heights on that graph was from a time when there wasn’t free2play alpha accounts. I don’t know where you are looking but I very rarely see numbers above 26k and I’m on EVE time. Plus you can bet that a large chunk of those numbers are alts rather than a single unique player log in. It doesn’t tell much of any story. The effect on ‘newplayers’ (not sure what that is, accounts or characters), seems to be minor. Some of that due to the new expansion, some due to “down the rabbit hole” perhaps, some for a week of free omega, vets returning for zarzakh, for shenanigans in the north in nullsec ? At least it’s not dropping.
