# Client 2162654 freezing up

After the 18 Nov 2022 update, my client is randomly freezing up requiring the OS to shut it down. It’s been rock solid before that. But now, it can happen within a minute or 15 minutes of launch. The game is obviously unplayable like this.

I tried rebooting and clearing the cache, but the issue remains. I’m running under Linux through Steam. Before you yell “unsupported”, I’m giving you a heads up now, so it’ll be easier to find the offending code before it’s buried under future code changes.

Best to post this in issues&workarounds and create a bug report.
