I have a Malediction Taxi with the following fit: [Malediction, Cardinal War-Richte’s Malediction] Inertial Stabilizers II Inertial Stabilizers II Inertial Stabilizers II Inertial Stabilizers II Thermal Dissipation Amplifier II EM Ward Amplifier II 5MN Microwarpdrive II Improved Cloaking Device II Small Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer II Small Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer II When I attempt to activate the MWD after activating the cloak, I get the error message “Interference from the cloaking you are doing is preventing your systems from functioning at this time”. Currently I’ve tried the Cloak Trick while still under the gate cloak. Do I need to wait for the gate cloak to complete first or am I doing something else wrong? ---

You align mwd cloak in that order you have to do all of those commands in under 2 second’s. Shortcut keys help ---

Why are you mwd/cloaking in an Interceptor? ---

I’ve been attempting the Eve University method: Hit align to your point of interest Immediately after hit the cloak Immediately after you hit cloak hit your MWD (this does work, you can activate non-offensive modules for 5 seconds after you activate a cloaking device). When your MWD cycle is about 90-95% complete, deactivate your cloak and spam warp to your point of interest. Is this wrong? The MWD will deactivate automatically, and when it does you will instantly enter warp. ---

Not much of a pause, but just a little one. ---

The Malediction with the fit shown aligns in 1.8 seconds and I know Interceptors are bubble proof. However, are you saying that the 1.8 sec is too fast for anyone to warp scramble me\> ---

So if they are outside that, the best they can do is point and you can burn away and then warp. That will be more effective than mwd/cloaking unless something is in scram range and has a lock time less than 1.8 sec. ---

So I gather from the document that my Malediction will live 99% of the time the only caveat being if my location (Australia) has poor latency. ---

True. I’m getting into every guide I can find on entering into lo sec and null sec with minimal risk. Sooner or later I’m going to be popped but that’s the way it is. ---

You don’t need every guide :] just make a 0m book mark on stations you enter then as you undock let your ship go straight for awhile like 300km make a bookmark, find your common routes you take and make a book mark 300km’s off of every gate and wam untouchable. ---

It’s also recommended to make the tactical bookmarks Makshima Shogo mentioned either above, below or sideways to gates. So you can’t be easily warped on via a celestial that might be in line of the bookmark and the gate. Also always try to fit some tank to your Interceptors if possible. The bit extra EHP can decide about live or death by smartbombs. ---

it’s align \> activate microwarpdrive \> then activate cloak , all in rapid seccession. When you activate MWD and then activate cloak, the MWD will run for one cycle before shutting off. This is enough to get your ship up to the 75% of maximum speed it needs to be at to enter warp (non-covert ops cloaking reduce overall max speed - working to your advantage as you then reach that 75% faster). Once you get up to speed where you can warp, de-activate cloak and immediately warp off (don’t wait for the visual animation to complete). ---

It doesn’t matter as long as you do it quick enough, the advantage of mwd first is that if you press it too quickly and it says that you cant do that while cloaked at least you still cloak instead of just mwd 😛 ---

If you do cloak first you have several entire seconds to hit the MWD while safely cloaked already.
