Lol Jump into null \> Make safe’s and anchor small secure cans \> Warp to 1 of the cans at range \> cloak and orbit. Now it looks like ya not afk as your orbit changes \> go enjoy your day/night while the forums collect tears from nullbears 😛 ---

Anchorable structure that pings every 15-30 minutes and decloaks EVERYTHING in system. The timer on Cloak was a good step forward, but AFK cloaky camping has been a stone in CCP’s hoof for literally all 16 of my years in the game. It’s pathetic they have allowed it for so long. It’s causes entire groups to unsub and quit the game for months at a time, if not permanently. CCP hates it’s players. ---

Not only should the cloak mechanic be restored back to when it was fun, but when cloaked you should not show up in local chat. Everybody wins. Mr Epeen 🕶 ---

Blopsed-in toons should get stargate/wormhole cloak, too. More people would play Widows and Panthers if there was a means to prevent the marauder bullies to pummel them before the hardeners can be activated on all alts. ---

So your saying that because a guy can cloak up in a system ( afk ) large groups will unsub and quit for months ?? Wow i just found out how to get rid of most of the nullbears lol. It’s a good indication that something _used to be wrong_ with this game mechanic. For the majority of those 20 years people could do nothing to deal with people who left their cloaky campers in space 24/7 as there was no way to interact with them or to force them to pay attention. Luckily a few years ago we finally got the means to interact with AFK cloaky campers: mobile observatories. However, in your case I don’t think a mobile observatory would have been the right call. Sorry about your Praxis, I assume that’s why you made this post. If I analyze it: It’s not recommended to rat in a staging system, it’s always very busy so it’s hard to keep track of hostile players. It also attracts a lot of attention from hostile groups too so you’re no doubt going to see some cloaky players as a staging system is the first place they’ll check. E3OI-U is Brave’s staging system, try ratting anywhere else. The system has many hostile eyes for the group that lives out of the NPC station in PR-8CA, which is one Redeemer-jump away. If you had looked at the zkillboard of that cloaky in local who caught you you would have noticed they are an Arazu cyno pilot backed by a rather large fleet of either Redeemers or Lokis. Redeemers in your case. Try another system in Delve, Querious or elsewhere in Imperium space, almost any other system is better to rat in than E3OI-U. ---

Enemies used to engage in fights, now they hide cloaked till they can blops and cloak back up. If people are so worried about null carebears its time to climb into some ships and go roaming instead of hiding cloaked like clowns. These people just want to maintain 0 risk pvp instead of having a real battles which is why there is a blops meta instead of real fleets. ---

I use my alts to afk cloak just to mess with the botters and ratters, You know the ones who want to make billions with 0 risk 😛 Its actually quite fun to watch so many ratters dock up and hide instead of coming to fight.
