![2 Years request to bring the old arena back update](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/e/c/3/ec34a655d36dfb1b0720357a4c8a3c52c70de446.jpeg) Hi everyone On July 14 2022, the request to bring the old arena back becomes 2 years old, thats what we want to celebrate! This year, the celebration will be focused on the Amarr Empire and the Amarr foundation day, meaning most prizes will be Amarr ships! In the picture above, you find all the dates of the giveaways and the prizes. Total value of all prizes is around 180B isk (including scope skin values). Based on feedback from last year, I gonna include a passive track, meaning that you can also participate if you cannot make it to the scheduled live streams. This will happen throught Google forms. There is one thing to mention: As we do not know the dates for the Proving grounds for the Liberation day and Foundation day, these dates are subjected to change, I will keep this thread updated. Lets explain the 3 live events in more detail: 1. **Liberation Games Scope skin extravaganza - inverse edition (Minmatar skins, and Amarr ships)** - When: July 16 & 17, from 11:00 - 16:00 live on Twitch - Google forms giveaways: July 15 - July 19 - Links for the giveaways: [Absolution and Vargur skin](https://forms.gle/SKy4XaeV7QaPcWGU6) [Drekavac and Tempest skin](https://forms.gle/VGsqi4tvQkfPFuWW6) 1. **From the Old Arena with Love** - When: July 30, 11:00 - 16:00 Live on Twitch - Google forms giveaways: July 29 - August 2 - Links for the giveaways: Old arena kit: [https://forms.gle/1cvfME8HoFiygGuR6](https://forms.gle/1cvfME8HoFiygGuR6) Skins for Vedmak and Stratios: [https://forms.gle/1YmrxostJWZzPuyc9](https://forms.gle/1YmrxostJWZzPuyc9) - Old arena kit includes an Impel, which contains an Ikitursa, Gila, Curse, Cerberus, Deimos and Orthrus 1. **Amarr Foundation Day Scope skin extravaganza - grand finale!** - When: August 6 & 7, 11:00 - 16:00 live on Twitch - Google forms giveaways: August 5 - August 9 - Links for the giveaways: [https://forms.gle/vE2MYPkR9ppGrCcE6](https://forms.gle/vE2MYPkR9ppGrCcE6) **Dates for the scope skin giveaways (links TBD):** - Ferox Scope skins: July 14 - 19: [https://forms.gle/BPhTWNw1yBBHKqte6](https://forms.gle/BPhTWNw1yBBHKqte6) - Hecate Scope skin: July 19 - 24: [https://forms.gle/qrxvisCZSja3uDEb7](https://forms.gle/qrxvisCZSja3uDEb7) - Kestrel Scope skin: July 24 - 29: [https://forms.gle/x4EtuoQGkuLoKacC8](https://forms.gle/x4EtuoQGkuLoKacC8) - Obelisk Scope Skin: July 29 - August 3: [https://forms.gle/PAKj9fpUsSH5FhERA](https://forms.gle/PAKj9fpUsSH5FhERA) - Venture Scope skin: August 3 - August 8: [https://forms.gle/EvSdfKt3BWGAzrqs7](https://forms.gle/EvSdfKt3BWGAzrqs7) - Prowler scope skin: August 8 - August 14: [https://forms.gle/Zyk5a56ZVsrsLzY38](https://forms.gle/Zyk5a56ZVsrsLzY38) **How to participate?** The live events take place on my [Twitch](https://www.twitch.tv/gustav_mannfred) channel. The raffles will be executed throught the moobot raffle service, you have to type !raffle in the chat when a raffle is live to enter in the giveaway. The Google forms raffles take place throught Google forms, the links will be posted when the raffles go live. You then click this link and enter your character name, these names then appear on a list and I will be using a random number generator to pick the winners. **A word of warning:** I know that such raffles attract alt owners to bring in a lot of alts, I reserve the right to partially check characters entered in these raffles and redraw if I suspect a throwaway alt. **FAQ:** Q: I don’t like the idea of bringing back the old arena, can I still participate? A: Yes! It does not alter your chances of winning Q: Do I have a better chance to win if I follow your channel or subscribe to it? A: No, everyone will have the same chance to win, regardless of patreonage, this is a rule by CCP. Q: Where do I find more out about the old Abyssal Arena? A: In the post of last years thread [[Completed] The request turns 1 - win up to 80B worth of stuff - #5 by Gustav\_Mannfred](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/completed-the-request-turns-1-win-up-to-80b-worth-of-stuff/316462/5) and in these forum threads: > [@Burner proving grounds as a replacement/relaunch for the old 1v1 arena at the end of abyssal sites](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/burner-proving-grounds-as-a-replacement-relaunch-for-the-old-1v1-arena-at-the-end-of-abyssal-sites/256913): > > So, when CCP removed the old 1v1 arena, many people complained and wanted it back or either an equivalent replacement. Here I gonna suggest an equivalent replacement for the old arenas, the burner proving grounds. To enter these, there is a new filament, the burner proving ground filament. You can obtain them by the same way as you get the normal proving filaments. However, the mechanic inside these sites is different from the regular proving grounds. Instead of a queue, you always enter the … > [@Bring back old proving grounds](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/bring-back-old-proving-grounds/274167): > > As the title says, bring back the old abyssal proving grounds! As I am not sure where to put, I put it into feature and idea discussion. I know, this is not the first thread about that(and there will be more coming for sure), but there are people who liked it, and so it should come back. There was nothing wrong with them, really not! I dont understand, why content, which is great got replaced with these filaments. Why was it not possible to keep the old arena? to be honest, I was thinking abou… and I made a [playlist](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLU8XY9tEgSMZOUti0z1Z_hZGnYFstjCCA) on youtube with 8h+ of old arena videos! ---
