This Event has taken place in this exact form over the past 6 years already and is independent of the lore. This event is also not meant to fish views or solely promote content that no longer exists or whatever. It is also not related to the lore. It has always been one of the 4 Empire, togheter with all pirate faction that need the skill of that empire to fly their ships. In case of Amarr it is Blood Raider, Sansha and SOE. As the Amarr Empire only has 3 pirate factions requiring their skills, I added EDENCOM and AIR Laboratories on top of them, so that over the years all the events have about the same amount of unique factions. I also wanna add that this event has been known to bring several new viewers to the EVE category on Twitch, which does not only help me, but all other creators too (over the raids at stream end). If you don’t like the event, no problem, but many enjoyed these giveaways in the past years.
