**VENTURE**

There is no ship as important and deadly to the new capsuleer as the Venture.

A little bit more than a year ago, I was a newborn capsuleer and totally new to EVE Online.
I was very curious about exploring wormholes and had read about it as much as I could find.
[Story is shortened to match the rules.]

* * *

… and there I was – inside a wormhole.

I bounced off celestials and made my safes.
Then, sitting at one spot, I tried to get a grasp of the surroundings.
_Wow, what a place! Is this a station … and … are those pirates? What the hell?_
While trying to find out more, something on D-scan caught my attention.
_Oof … someone’s here! I gotta get out of here! Did he see me?_
I warped around the system a few times, he was hunting me!

Pling!
My hands were shaking. My heart was beating fast.
_I … I did it! I escaped! Outta here – NOW!
Umm, where are my modules? Wut …? Why …? How …?_
Then I was staring at a corpse floating in space.

Someone was talking in local. I barely managed to answer.
It turned into a really nice and interesting conversation.

* * *

So, I lost my virginity in a C3 wormhole. On day five of my EVE-Life. 🤣

> **[Venture | Sashimi Isu | Killmail](https://zkillboard.com/kill/71503124/)**
>
> Sashimi Isu (Science and Trade Institute) lost their Venture in J211805 (C-R00014) Total Value: 332,302.96 ISK

Curiosity kills the cat. And the not-yet-ready ones get killed first – and fast. 😸
But curiosity is also a chance to learn something.

**Vexor**

What’s the point in getting within range of another’s guns.
Up close and personal…no thanks. We don’t specialise in drone warfare to not play with the toys
Fit those range mods and fill that huge Drone bay with whatever drones you need. Add a few salvage drones, then get to work.

Launch the kids at extreme range and let them melt the target without getting your hands dirty or your armor dented. Once the last shot is fired, launch your salvagers like a pack of scavengers to pick over the corpses of the fallen.

Pack up and move to the next target until you cargo bay is full.
Then return home without so much as a scratch on that lovely Vexor hull.

NEMESIS

Well, is a great name. And with the blackout, it turns to be a great NIGHTMARE (second option?) for some explorers. =)

Because it makes me think of a sword seen from above and light not because it is brilliant but because it is more stylish

Or

Because he reminds me of a lego ship (the caimen lego it’s exist only in lego)

Hecate

It’s a staple of small gang and solo PVP at the moment. It can get in your face and brawl, it can instant lock and snipe your pod. It’s versatility makes it unbelievably fun to fly. I also feel like it’d be hilarious listening to 80% of the people pronounce it wrong. 🙂

**Sabre**

Every second a poor little Sabre is blown up in a solar system near you, PLEASE, don’t let it be in vain. Do your part in using this ships name in remembrance of all the brave pilots charging headfirst into 40 titans just to throw those 3 little bubbles up and explode immediately after(sometimes before). ❤

HECATE
The conference room where the most arguments of meaning take pace, should be Hecate.
Designed for in-your-face brawling do-or-die situations. I lost a fair few in standard buffer fit, then for Xmas 2018 a Brave Capsuleer gave me a full faction fit polarized Hecate. I’ve been adding abyssal and now puts out \>1400dps and has NO tank (polarized). Total cost is about 3 Billions so far. I dare not undock it but if I do, I’m bringing the pain.
In a business ‘discussion’ bring your best weapon, but always be vulnerable to counter-argument. What better way to remind you of that than a Polarized Hecate.
P.s. Remember, if I shoot you in the face, I hope you’ll understand, it’s just a means of communication!

EVE Online… The name… When the developers first started working on this game I bet they weren’t thinking about ship names. That came in later. I bet they were not thinking about constellation names either. Nor solar systems, nor regions!!! They were thinking about the battles up ahead, they were thinking about those days in which thousands of players where to come together and wage war like neverseen before in the history of online gaming. And so those days came and now we are living them. The rooms, in my opinion, should have the names of the biggest battles in EVE Online history, the names of those fights that made some changes in the game. Name the rooms like the wars and on the doors right details of each battle like no. of corps, alliances, ships, types of ships. Make the room doors a reason to be late at the meeting!! MAKE THE ROOMS GLORIOUS MONUMENTS, reminders of what EVE Online is all about.

**KOMODO**
The ship that all capsuleers endeavor to pilot during their journey throughout the galaxy. The pinnacle of power in New Eden. It shall become the conference room in which the strongest fight their battles. It shall ensure that only the best ideas make it out alive and into the world of New Eden. It will be the place where todays future and tomorrow’s reality are created. This room shall embody the strength needed to continue in the creation and development of the greatest world there is. It will be… KOMODO.

**The Victorieux Luxury Yacht**

“The Yacht” for short, is a reminder to all of the ancient wisdom that all capsuleers in Eve are equal, but some capsuleers are more equal than others. As such it’s an ideal management room, equipped with blinds to ensure no employee will ever find a manager in those rare occasions that you need one. It comes of course with a well stocked bar , Quafe Ultra Special Edition included, and many other amenities to lighten the hard life of a manager. Exotic dancers, male and female, are available on request. A janitor to do the cleanup is on standby. As are some militia men to keep out the riffraff (a.k.a. ‘disgruntled employees’).

Ikitursa

Simply because as a Finnish dude I am up to you having to meet inside a Finnish mythology beast, such as the ship is as well.

If you’d have a ship called perkele, that would be my choice!

The Pod

There has to be a Pod Room for emergency situations.
The Pod is the womb that shelters a capsuleer after an unfortunate encounter, and we all have flown one, probably more than once. It’s certainly the only vessel that’s been flown by 100% of capsuleers.
And the Pod is also a precious, if slow and fragile, means of transport. With its small signature resolution and incredible align time, il will slip through many embarrassing situations.
Long live the Pod !

**The Hound**

Some would call it the flying broom closet of the ship tree. It’s small, some say it’s ugly. It looks like it’s made from pieces fallen off a certain national monument, and yet looks balanced in its design.

I spent weeks, nay, months in my beloved Hound, scouting, observing, relaying intel, often making people nervous. When the timing and the circumstances are aligned this ship gets the job done with great effect, both in a material and in a psychological way. It’s the perfect hull to pilot while humming the Jaws theme 😜 and I confess I’ve used the music on TS to signal the corp a successful recon, ordering everyone to their ships.

Piloting hulls like the Hound is a dramatic experience, the patience of the hidden hunt, the observation of the prey and then… the pounce. Whether it shoots torpedoes or drops bombs, lights a cyno to rally kindred souls for the good cause or cloaky gate camps a pipe system, this tiny enclosure of living and breathing room, this reputed predator is highly efficient, agile, sophisticated and as relentless as its occupant. The Hound leaves no one in New Eden unaffected.

Consider naming your smallest, humblest meeting room The Hound. It’s usually where jobs get done in most companies.

Burst

I had just started, done the tutorial, career agents and a few missions. But you don’t make much isk doing that. Exploration is where you can make a fast buck. I learn all I can. I fit out a random frigate - I have a Burst, that will do.

Somehow I end up in a low class wormhole. I run the relic sites and end up with salvage worth 150,000,000 isk. A fortune after 12 days playing. Now to head home. How do I get home. Remember kids - always bookmark your way home…

Eventually I pop out somewhere in null sec. Quick run. Never been in null before. I know nothing about safe travel. I burn for home. Gate follows gate. I start to relax. Next gate. The bubble goes up.

Hooked

**Basilisk**

After starting out running Incursions in a sniper Raven with “The Valhalla Project”, I quickly realized how much the fleet’s success depended on timely, coordinated support from our team of cap chained Basilisks. I also noticed how much shorter the waitlist typically was to get into fleet and make ISK for Basilisk pilots… and discovered I experienced greater enjoyment (and an occasional adrenaline rush) overheating reps to save blingy fleet mates from imminent demise than sniping Sansha and getting yelled at to not shoot “Tag X”.

It’s my hope that this meeting room can become the embodiment of a tight Basilisk team, fostering efficient teamwork that saves the day even for ~~late broadcasts~~ …err… critical problems.

Broadcast for Reps & Amarr Victor!
