Cormorant - Tech 2 - Solo PvP

A fitting for the Cormorant to be used in solo PvP.

It can use tech 1 or tech 2 modules and ammo.

Imagine you just trained into tech 2 modules and were looking for a well rounded fit for solo PvP.

Please provide any tips you have for how the fit should be flown.

Fitting for quickly overwhelming targets at very close range with very high DPS.

How to fly:

  • Ensure you can start the fight at 0 (For Example sit at a FW beacon at 0)
  • As soon as a target lands, activate your AB and approach your target.
  • Apply webs and overheated DPS as soon as possible.
  • The dualwebs should suffice to keep your target in range long enough for you to kill it.

Note: if your target pays attention and is not overwhelmed by the incomming DPS he may be able to warp off

This fit is mainly relying on the principle, that you don’t have to tank what’s dead, so the only tank is a slightly reinforced hulltank without trading off too much damage. The tank is enough to take some hits from frigates and the like upclose.

Optional: The 1MN AB can be downgraded to free up some fitting space.

Ill be a bit more serious with this one. This is a fleet doctrine fit i threw together a few months back.
