## Suggestion: Captain’s hangar for haulers Keywords: hauling Give haulers, BRs, DSTs & freighters an additional small (\<100m^3) hangar for things belong with the ship (refit modules etc), to keep them separate from cargo. ---

BRs should have a ship maintenance bay like a Nestor, accessible only to ships with a cloaking device. I think it spice things up. ---

I usually had a cargo container within my haulers called “modules.” Worked plenty well enough. ---

Such a feature would be nice. I keep forgetting that my cargo expanders, inertial stabilizers, bulkheads or jump economizers are part of the ship rather than cargo. Downside is that 100m3 isn’t always enough for such modules. For example Jump Economizers for the jump freighter are 3500m3 each, but on the other hand giving Jump Freighters 11000m3 extra cargo ‘for refits’ is a bit much. > [@0ptimus\_Swine](#): > > I usually had a cargo container within my haulers called “modules.” Worked plenty well enough. This works really well and is really flexible too as you can pick a container size matching the volume of modules you want to haul. Looks like the best solution is already available. ---

I do the same on pretty much every ship I fly. I like this idea and would even label it ‘Ship Store’. ---

Yeah, and as I mentioned, this is what I do. But I have also unloaded that container by accident, and travelled all the way back home before realising. ---
