I mean an hour ago you said you won by popular vote… And then you deny the reality in tyranny of the majority. When we talk about the reality of the existence of the CSM in this game… You seem to deny what it’s true intent and purpose is. Talking about its formation is not even related to the question. ---

Smart, correct, precise. An average person would ignore the fact historical things change their meaning / purpose by usage… I believe there’s a word for that, but I’m kind of ignorant… 😅 If I was a lawyer, then I would probably know. ---

Tyranny of the majority only matters when you’re talking about a body that rules. The CSM can’t even pick what they’re having for lunch. There is no power. It’s a focus group. You don’t have a basic understanding of what the CSM is, what it does, and why, and you’ve got all these goofy notions in your head. Do yourself a favor and do some research. You’re wasting your time, mine, and everybody who is still reading this stuff (hopefully nobody). ---

When players are elected to the CSM, they work closely with developers at CCP Games, reviewing early-stage features, economy adjustments, and strategic roadmaps. Because they are given access to trade secrets and unreleased information, \*\*all CSM members are required to sign a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) ---

You say the CSM was formed to regain credibility that was lost… I’m agreeing that you don’t have any and I’m also saying if you want to get it back you need to add some transparency to those meetings. What should happen is that it’s streamed live. ---

I didn’t say anything about the CSM’s credibility. I was talking about the company’s. The company can’t share stuff that’s a work in progress or bounce ideas off the focus group if there is an audience. People go nuts about rumors as it is. They make the CSM members sign an NDA for just this reason. The company needs to be able to be candid, and you can’t be candid in public. It’s why people don’t bang in the middle of the street, dude. As for transparency, the company release the minutes after summits (or they used to), and I did my best when I was serving to provide updates on what we were working on - that’s incumbent on the members to provide, and if they don’t do that, don’t vote for them. The people who deserve to sit there are the people who win the election. Doesn’t matter where they come from. Most players have a variety of experience. I spent 14 years in highsec before I moved to null. There’s no reason to pigeonhole people into one playstyle when this game gives you the option to do a lot of stuff. In before you suggest quotas of seats for each area of space. I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself. I stayed off these forums for a reason. ---

I would rather have no CSM… Then continue to allow people such as yourself to take advantage of it. It has not served its purpose of regaining trust in the community. It’s done quite the opposite. ---

I respect the idea of CSM but not the part where only omega accounts can vote, that is just wrong, everything else is fine though in my opinion.
