Years ago I watched a documentary on glue abuse, near the end it showed this spaced out dopy late teen who having been kicked out by his parents was living rough in a railway station. Commuters getting on the train were surprised to find themselves sticking to the seats, or stepping in pools of glue. And then the immortal line, the father turns round to the reporter and says. “I can’t stick it anymore!” I cried laughing, sad but funny. ---

Dracvlad makes a joke, tells a funny story, keeps going even though people don’t appear to be listening, “Wait, wait, the punchline is… get it?” Dracvlad repeats the story, hoping people will understand, he tries to explain the joke but the moment is lost. It doesn’t matter, at least Dracvlad gets to sit at the lunch table next to the gankers, but while he isn’t looking @knowledgeminer rolls his eyes and leaves the table. One of the gankers throws some corn at Dracvlad, he doesn’t even notice, and the yellow kernels remain trapped in his unkempt hair. Later, when he does notice, he leaves them there. Gankers wouldn’t throw corn at him unless they were noticing him. He wears the corn with pride. That evening his mom washes his hair and mutters to herself. She throws the corn in the garbage, but later Dracvlad retrieves the kernels and puts them in his box next to the lint. ---

Aiko imagines things and thus deduces stupid conclusion, then bitches that the world does not fit that stupid vision. It’s not even fun, its just a retard show. Anderson keeps muttering, it’s all just too much, and the voices are getting louder. The teacher has to stop class and send Anderson out into the hall, while everyone laughs. Out in the hallway, Anderson sits on the floor, wincing everytime someone looks at her. There is nobody there, but they are all staring, and its just humiliating. The muttering gets louder, words and syllables all jumbled together, it just never stops. Anderson thinks about that beautiful princess, the one who laughed at her for having duct tape on her glasses, but Anderson knows she’s just a “bitch”, a “stupid… fumb duck”. The jealous words spill out of her mouth, just as the hall monitor is walking past. Even the hall monitor is laughing as Anderson gets sent to the counseling office. ---

It is late at night, and Anderson has finally been released from detention. She is walking home, mumbling to herself and dwelling on the past. The duct tape on her glasses is chafing against her nose, triggering her allergies, as she dwells obsessively on the time Aiko made fun of her. Aiko was giving a report on the scientific method, when Anderson interrupted to loudly remind everyone that evolution is “just” a theory. Aiko laughed, “Do you also believe the Earth is flat?” Hahaha, everyone laughed and laughed. Anderson can’t stop thinking about this, a year later and the words ring as crisp and sharp as the moment they were uttered. Anderson mutters, what kind of an idiot thinks people live upside down? That makes no sense. She hopes something bad happens to Aiko, but nothing bad ever happens. It’s just not fair. Anderson slips and falls into a mud puddle. Oh, that’s not mud. ---
