I have a toon with an Executioner that has been sitting in a station in Serpentis space since shortly after his birth in 2006. That’s probably the longest-untouched ship among all my toons. But I had some other ships sitting in stations from that time on a different toon, and when I finally decide to go collect them, they weren’t dirty at all. I think the dirt might only get applied to ships assembled after the dirt update. ---

Dirty ships are way better looking than clean, they just have this sort of look The dirt maps on these things are hotttt ---

lol, no that ship has only seen a few missions, I mainly fly T3 Cruiser and smaller hull class ships. IIRC, even if they sit docked up, they can still collect dirt and grime ---

Minmitar armor reps are oxygen generators to Oxidise the hull to make it stronger and repair damage ---

However you can really see the dirt with certain ship skins. Take for instance my Minmatar Scythe Cruiser with Biosecurity Responders skin.
