# Do warp scram prevent gate jumping?

Hi I haven’t been playing for a while, so not sure if something has changed, but the description of warp scramblers sound like they prevent “jumping”, is that gate/WH jumping?

Normal warp disruptors or warp scramblers do not prevent gate jumping (although they prevent taking an acceleration gate). They only prevent the warp, which is different from gate jumping. And if you are warp disrupted or warp scrambled, you cannot dock in a citadel.

Heavy Interdiction Cruisers’ Focus Warp Disruptor and Focused Warp Scrambler prevent gate jumping for capital ships, though.
