# ESI Get the required skills for an item/ship etc

Hey,  
I cant find any way to get the required skills that are needed for using an item or flying an ship.  
Like they are shown in the requirements tab in the item info in eve itselft.  
I already have the type\_ids of the items I need to check.

I used the following route  
`https://esi.evetech.net/latest/universe/types/8641/`, Thats a type\_id for a remote shield transfer but cant get anything usefull out of it.

Do I really need to make a list myself, for all the items I need to check against (wich are a lot), since there are a lot of possible modules that can be fitted to a ship 😜

You care about the following attributes:  
182, 183. 184, 1285, 1289, 1290 for the skill ids  
277, 278, 279, 1286, 1287, 1288 for the skill levels.

These do not take skills required for skills required. Only the top level of the tree.
