# EVE Client Crash Related to AMD FSR Settings

I apologize if this turns out to be a misunderstanding or an issue specific to my PC environment.  
I have confirmed that when launching EVE from the launcher, the client does not reach the sign-in screen.

OS  
Windows 11 24H2 26100.7171

CPU  
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

GPU  
Sapphire NITRO+ RX 9070 XT

Driver  
AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition  
Revision Number  
Adrenalin 25.11.1 (WHQL Recommended)

After testing various configurations, I found that EVE crashes under the following conditions:

- EVE client upscaling set to AMD FSR3
- In AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, under Gaming ⇒ Graphics, the option “AMD FSR 4 features a new upgrade toggle” is enabled

To avoid EVE crashing at this time, one of the following settings appears to be required:  
Option 1-A:  
Disable “AMD FSR 4 features a new upgrade toggle” in Global Graphics Settings of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition  
Option 1-B:  
Create an Application Profile in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition for  
“C:\EVE\SharedCache\tq\bin64\exefile.exe”  
and disable “AMD FSR 4 features a new upgrade toggle” there
