# EVE Launcher updating error

I am having a similar problem but for me it’s not stuck on the download screen. It simply isn’t downloading anything, my launcher is stuck on a screen that sais “An error occurred while downloading client”. I noticed the issue right after I tried to download the recent vanguard update. Also when I try to ‘verify cache’ like what I read before, I cant even click on it because its greyed out… also I’m on mac, thought id mention it incase it matters at all.

I’m still having this issue. I was playing fine. Then one day I couldn’t.  
I’ve tried to verify files on Steam but can’t. The mouseover doesn’t change.  
I’ve even uninstalled Eve and reinstalled it. Even deleted the folder in Steam/Common.
