With the roaming fleet minor is surely not designed for 1-3 guys
especially taking into the account that you’d need an salvager

Edit: Maybe a blinky fit marauder can handle that. Not sure.

The Triglavians were warping into routed Ark sites from Day 1. (I am assuming this is the same as you mean here by “closed” site.)

I originally went into the routed site with a venture and then followed up with a skiff/ orca combination. Skiff got away clean but I only got the orca out with 50% structure left, after I had realised my mistake.

My recommendation is that a prospect with porpoise would be the best combination for both speed of mining and speed of exit. I have since processed all the ore so do not remember the numbers. However, I do not think I ever saw a routed Ark site again anyway and just mined sealed majors instead.

I\we have never stayed longer in a “sealed\routed” sites. Once when completed, we always warped to next available site. But yesterday, we have experienced roaming fleets warping to the sites, both active and sealed. Until yesterday, we have never seen the roaming fleets in active conduits.

So … from now on, one has to be really careful not to clear full roaming fleet whilst fighting against conduit NPC’s. Otherwise, the support roaming fleet will land on your face (0 KM) and you could eventually break. Especially if you’re fighting the “Zorya’s challenge” - “We have intercepted transmissions from Zorya’s ship. They appear to be issuing a formal challenge.”.

Thank you for sharing!

> You are once again not getting the point. You are more dense than compressed ore.
> This has nothing to do with the bug, simply the timing of people getting the LE. If your reps and capchain turn off while 150+ ships are shooting one of your party members, and you can not reactivate them because your drones are still on their way. You will lose that party member.

Oh, really? So in a previous post I was clueless for not knowing the problem was that using offensive drones other than sentries to automatically get the LE would kill your entire logi chain, but when I reply showing how ridiculous that claim was, the problem now is something else, something that I didn’t get before because of how dense I am, namely that you want to engage the suspect precisely with the ship that has 150+ NPCs shooting it…

How unfortunate… Don’t you have any other ship available for that? Does it have to be precisely the one that has 150+ NPCs shooting it? This totally looks like you’re _not_ trying to make up excuses to justify your whining…

> [@TehCloud](#):
>
> Safeties prevent you from issuing commands that concord you

Safeties don’t just do that, they also cause previously issued commands to **stop** when the conditions that allowed them to be issued are no longer met. That’s how they are supposed to work and failing to do that should be considered a bug.

An example is precisely the issue we’re talking about here. You may start remote repping a pilot with safety green when he doesn’t have an LE. As soon as he gets an LE the reppers will deactivate by themselves, not cause you to go criminal (or suspect before the changes) simply because remote repping was allowed when you issued the command.

Another example would be shooting the MTU or Mobile Depot of a pilot having a suspect or criminal timer. You may start shooting the MTU with safety green without going suspect, and as soon as the timer ends the weapons will deactivate by themselves. They won’t keep shooting and you won’t go suspect just because shooting the MTU was allowed by your safety setting when you issued the command.

It works that way for every situation you may think of… unless there is a bug that makes it not work as intended, that is… Why wold drones be any different? Makes no sense.

But wait, there is this:

So that was fixed October 2017, more than a year and a half ago. Please, tell me again how stupid, clueless, unwilling to learn and dense I am for saying this had to be a bug already fixed long ago. Tell me also how much you know about all this stuff, and how capable and willing to learn you are that you couldn’t figure this by yourself and I had to do the research for you, even though this was such a big deal for you, but not for me…

Why were they different before the patch note you linked ? Made no sense.

Also they fixed a bug, does that mean there is no more ?
Safety prevents YOU from activating modules or ordering actions that would change your criminal status. However drone aggro may not be changed when the status of the target changes, only the drone attack was changed from “attack” to “if securityellow and !targetprotectedconcord then attack”

This is getting interesting and we still do not have any info from CCP who seem to enjoy this whole mistery stuff while stuff is dying left and right.
Yesterday we had a drifter invasion and new info was found:

- the new Drifters can warp in to combat anomalies like heavens, they insta warp, insta lock, and you got 0% change to escape, a guy that lost 2 VNI’s reported that he didn’t have time to align out before he was popped - this seems like RNG killing, Russian roulette on who gets to live or die, if you are unfortunate, you die without any way to escape.
-they dropped on a normal combat fit supercarrier in a heaven and it seems that he would have died if Faxes would have not jumped in.
- rorquals are completly target baits for the drifters as you are stuck in place with core on, there were multiple drops on that too, some died [https://zkillboard.com/kill/77614019/](https://zkillboard.com/kill/77614019/)
- citadels are dying already [https://zkillboard.com/kill/77614406/](https://zkillboard.com/kill/77614406/)

I just want information from CCP side and cut this mistery crap already, as far as things go now it doesn’t sound like fun to be killed in random generated russian rullete pve npc spawns.
I mean, the goal here is for everyone in Null to stay docked for a few weeks till CCP decides what is the final form of this drifter invasion? Where is the fun in that?

P.S. this is not a salty post being angry at new content, I would like to enjoy this new content like Hi-sec does.

LOL. You don’t get it. They worked differently because there was a **bug** that made them **not work as intended**. What makes no sense is that they would **intentionally** work differently, not that there was a bug.

> [@Anderson\_Geten](#):
>
> Also they fixed a bug, does that mean there is no more ?

No. But so what? Is the theoretical possibility that there might be a bug that nobody has encountered yet a reason to not use the existing game mechanics as they’re supposed to work or what?

> [@Anderson\_Geten](#):
>
> Safety prevents YOU from activating modules or ordering actions that would change your criminal status.

Again, they do more than that. They **also** cause previously issued commands to **stop** when the conditions that allowed them to be issued are no longer met.

> [@Anderson\_Geten](#):
>
> However drone aggro may not be changed when the status of the target changes, only the drone attack was changed from “attack” to “if securityellow and !targetprotectedconcord then attack”

What? How this is coded internally is irrelevant. Either it works as intended or it doesn’t, and if it doesn’t it is a bug, period.

The way it’s intended to work is you shouldn’t go suspect or criminal under any circumstances if you have your safety set to green. Who cares how this is coded internally or what they changed to fix it?

Lol you don’t get it. They worked differently because they are subject to different mechanisms. Drones are entities subject to their own AI and taking actions without the need for the player to act.
They _intentionally_ work differently.

Anyhow my point is still valid. They were different before the patch, so whatever you claim “makes no sense” is just something you are unable to understand.

When I said they’re not supposed to work differently it was _in regards to the safety settings_, not in regards to their AI in general. See the difference and how the context matters here?

Regardless of the fact that drone AI works differently, drones are still supposed to work exactly the same as everything else _in regards to safety settings_, i.e. they should ignore commands issued to them that might break your safety settings AND stop any actions that might break those safety settings when the conditions that allowed those actions are no longer met.

> [@Anderson\_Geten](#):

Your point… Which is what? That because drones have a different AI, safety settings don’t have to work for them the same they work for everything else? LOL. Good thing CCP knows better and fixed the bug…

I wonder why would CCP consider it a BUG and FIXED it seeing how it made perfect sense that drones would work differently _in regards to safety settings_… I’m so unable to understand this kind of things…

I didnt mention the 100% resistance to learning in jest, I was serious back then.

@Knowledgeminer
I implore you to attemp doing world arks, if you can find people who would even take such a baddie with them.
Link the loss mails in the thread please and tell me how you guys managed to defend your loot.

And if you can’t find a fleet I can maybe offer you a spot in ours, it will cost you a lot of ISK though.

I also still offer you the chance at honourable 1v1 if you have the required male genitalia for it, that is.
Battleship obviously.

Module activation is a mechanism. Drone AI is another one. They worked differently wrt safety settings because they are two different mechanisms.

No, they _had_ not effect on drone AI, and it was later fixed.

Hey there.
No need to reply to people who don’t care at all.

Our group was working on the world ark before the current change in extra waves.
(Actually the [concord video](https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=958340224520884) showing players doing world ark was us, with 3nestor 1vindi 1guardian 4leshak and 1 Damnation)

We would like to thank you for providing such valuable information on the forum.
These info are usually kept within the small groups, not shared, because they are earned with heavy investment.

We understand the problems you encountered when doing world ark (even before the recent buff).
And that’s why we decided not continue doing it after like 3 successful run.

We are very curious about the statement of some structures are “Randomly located”. Is that confirmed? If that is that can be a huge surprise factor and may just f\*\*k up the whole team.

> Module activation is a mechanism. Drone AI is another one. They worked differently wrt safety settings because they are two different mechanisms.

You’re conflating what’s the reason they worked differently in regards to safety settings with what made the bug possible.

The reason drones worked differently _in regards to safety settings_ is that they didn’t code the drone AI at first to work **as intended**. In software development that’s called a **bug**.

That they’re two different mechanisms is what made this bug possible, **not** the reason the drone AI wasn’t working as intended.

The proof the reason cannot be what you say, is that they’re still two different mechanisms, but they don’t work differently _in regards to safety settings_ anymore, so the reason had to be something else. The proof the reason is that there was a bug is that they work the same _in regards to safety settings_ after the bug was fixed.

> [@Anderson\_Geten](#):
>
> What I’m saying is that your “it makes no sense” is BS.

Except you keep saying this as if I had said it makes no sense that the bug might happen, or that they would work differently in general, when I’ve never said nor meant that. There goes your “rigor”.

What I’ve been saying all the time didn’t make sense is that they would **intentionally** not work the same **in regards to safety settings** …
