EVE online suffers from increasingly older demographics, looks like not many new players are coming to the game. Its like older it gets, its mostly the same players playing it, and not many new are added. It really reflects the current developed countries demographics, which majority of players come from. 🤔 With demographics shrinking, in result the amount of players will also shrink, the old ones will eventually die, and new ones will be too few. Maybe EVE needs to promote traditional christian values, or more widely, conservative? No contraception, woman in kitchen and working around kids at home, only one sexual partner for whole life etc. Family arranged marriage? ---

Too simple for you, it seems. The longer any game lasts, the older the people will now be who joined it when it started…or who joined in the intervening years. Thus the median age _will_ increase over time. Not just for Eve but for any game. ---

You look at it when young and if you last a few weeks you stick around for a bit, but eventually break away from it once in college, join the workforce, get married, etc. But eventually you came back once settled and stick it out for the long haul (even if including breaks), because there’s something for everyone here - and that there’s an addictive quality to EvE in general. –Gadget Observes Edit… And how the hell did a 3-year old thread get necro’d? You seem to look at other graphs, If there would be the same amount of younger players joining every year, the 2014 graph line would look more up and flat in the younger players span, where it begins, instead, less of those younger players join because there are not enough younger people in those countries. The highest point will shift further and further as people gets older, then what? They will die. And the game with them. CCP needs to add something to te game that will make more females play, then something like a dating app also inside the game, and also add tool to arrange a meeting so more people could marry, have sex, and then have children that will also play EVE. Game needs to promote the conservative values also. # EVE would be forever only with a total dedication to the cause. ---

I have to add also, that developers would have to specifically cater to more younger and fertile women to get them into the game and to have maximum effect of promoting childbirth. Unaducated, religious, young women. ---
