# EVE server down in Australia?

The error I’m seeing in my client log is

EXCEPTION #4 logged at 03/24/2026 00:35:28 : Invalid answer from server GetServerStatus

This [thread](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/connection-to-server-was-closed-unable-to-connect-on-port-26000/351008) ( [Connection to Server was closed, unable to connect on port 26000](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/connection-to-server-was-closed-unable-to-connect-on-port-26000/351008) ) seems to be the same exception. However, the troubleshooting appears to have been focussed on one ISP in that case.
