# EVE won't launch on M1 MacBook Air \[With Temporary Solution\]

Sorry if this is obvious, but: I don’t see a way to select a Wine version in the preferences for the Eve Launcher. Do I need to do something to make that setting show up?

Hello all.  
Today we released the native Intel and M1 mac OS clients for TQ. Please see the other forum threads for details 🙂  
You should no longer need workarounds to play EVE Online.

Please ensure you’re on the latest launcher before you play.
