This event is so bad I’m at a loss for words to describe it without sounding hyperbolic. The question I really want to know is who is running the show at CCP that allowed something this awful to go live? The bottom line is that the rewards/loot table are garbage. Every other existing mechanic in the game provides better rewards than this “special event” - If that isn’t complete and total failure, I don’t know what is. Rather than encourage activity and subscriptions to the game, this event discourages play and makes players want to unsubscribe. ---

At a minimum a break even floor for the ticket/ore/isk boxes should have been implemented. That this was not done makes it seem like CCP wants to harm the community. CCP has lost trust from this event. CCP has will lose subscribers and revenue from this event. ---

From my experience, there’s no despawn timer. As soon as there is no player in the site, it despawns. I dropped a cloaked venture into one with an alt while I wiped the site with a praxis. The site stayed put until I could take my time and mine it out. It sucks, but it works. ---

99% of the 325 comments so far are people complaining… there are systems with 5+ sites there are whole regions without ANY sites this is mindboggling Not to mention the in game chat channel where people are complaining even more… Why not make an event with SITES IN EVERY SYSTEM/or every 2 systems with a 10-15 min respawn rate, people fight over it anyway… And to not destroy economy with stuff, just make unique items or implants with a low drop rate… ---

CCP even won’t respond. Shame on you! Leaving EvE again then. Nothing new and interesting there. This event (and even more – no respond from CCP in this huge thread) looks like “f\*\*k you, players”. ---

was amused about that too, people that worked on event…worked so hard to get it right and now left on vacation with a job well done…they deserve it for finishing the event on time 😃 ---

CCP Seriously!!! You need to respond. I love this game but this was a fail at every level and tons of people are talking about quitting the game. This event is a punishment not a reward. And your silence is making it seem like you don’t care at best and it was intentional at worst. SAY SOMETHING ---

Any idea when event tracker will be fixed can’t even do the crappy event now cause my event tracker has been broken got the cerebral accelerator bpc then event tracker broke can’t do anymore. 😟😟😟 ---

My very first post on the forums and I’ve been a paid subscriber for 5 1/2 years. Changes to events have become increasingly more irritating and less rewarding. 1. They stopped paying bounties. 2. The “agency” which cut back on rewards and rather than dropped loot, you now only get loot at certain point levels and the agency requires a click to claim the points. How many have you missed so you don’t get the points? 3. Accelerator drops are gone. NOW you get a bpc which requires refining an ore… (more wasted time and expense). 4. Continued reduction of the loot in the drop tables and the loot is less valuable. 5. Despawn timers, warp out timers, heavy drone aggro… etc… Our small corp has decided to stop paying for time and will use our 250,000,000,000 (250 Billion) ISK to fund our play time. CCP will never see another dime of real money from us. My next post will read “So long, and thanks for all the fish.” May be down the road a bit as we have a few ISK to play for a while.
