This event is nothing short but an ordinary Eve scam, I have no other words for it. I had to pay about 25 mil ISK upfront to get a 10 mil ISK item from the event, are you kidding me? Lol, tfw when the devs in a sociopath-ridden game become sociopaths themselves… ---

@CCP_Falcon, we shall really get reply on this as your customers. @Leah_Crowleymass described our concerns very well in her post. Actually if you sell on game merket PLEX that you bought from CCP, someone bought it for ISK there. Then that person will usually make the same amount of ISK in a month, if not greater to buy another PLEX package to keep being omega. ISK is printed in billions and if PLEX soars in value, so is ISK supply because more people join activities that allow it. That situation is the same with extractors and extractors cost PLEX, so its connected. So ISK amount in game is bigger and bigger, and it comes mainly from null, because people there use alts and PLEX them. A lot of isk flowing in means its worth less and less, so more of it is needed for the same stuff. ---

While I subscribe to the “if you don’t like the event, don’t participate” philosophy, I feel like it needs to be rebalanced a bit. I have yet to hear of a single person walking away ISK positive. I tried it for a few hours and went back to running Abyssal sites. I am very interested to see if this will be included in the ISK sinks in the next MER. ---

Why not have more than one kind of ‘event’? -Seasonal **General Events** like Crimson Harvest ie things you ALREADY KNOW work and are well liked that adhere to the normal event schedule. And then - **Special Events** that are that are experiments, smaller in scope in order to test out the concept. The way it’s done now is a disaster. Many PVE players wait for these events because it can be a nice change from the stuff we’ve done over and over again, and after the event it’s easy and refreshing to go back to the PVE content we rely on for in-game income. Why you have a terrible event like this, not only does the bad event itself generate anger, but PVE players just keep doing the same old content they’ve been doing, which leads to burn out and eventually quitting. The cost of a screw up like Guardian’s Gala is more that just an angry sperg thread or two on Reddit and these forums. And EVERY TIME this screw up happens , CCP comes back with “we are listening so we can improve”. If I were running CCP, I’ d be asking questions about how these screw ups could keep happening, and what needs to change personnel wise and company-culture wise to stop it. ---

I opted to wait a few days to give the bugs and loot tables etc a chance to get sorted out. My opinion has not changed. This event is NOT fun. It sucks. It sucks for all the reasons above which I mostly agree with. I certainly dont mind a lotto but this system wasn’t branded as a lotto. The mining repross is garbage, the aquamarine skins look like a crack head my little pony nightmare, the bosses warp off and once you warp off a site it’s poof gone, meaning unless you’re multinoxing most mining can’t be done solo. But lootboxes… lootboxes… Thats piss and yall know it. The ccp silence has indeed been deafening and maybe thats ok from your end with your new korean overlords? Not from the old players end though ---
