Actually, no. I wasnt the first one, someone else posted that first:

And someone else posted this recently too:

So it didnt start with me, and it certainly isnt ending with me either.

But I feel as though youve sorta missed the point of my post, entirely.

It doesnt matter if its hospitalization, death in the family, going through Chemotherapy because of Cancer, working outside the country, etc etc etc, there will always be some portion of the player base that will not be able to make the event because of real life commitments, real life tragedies.

And if we end up saying “Okay, you had a death in the family, so you should get all the rewards even though you missed 2-3 days of it”, then, even if the event had gone for 30 days, wouldnt it be just as fair to say “Okay, you had a hospitalization that lasted for 2-3 weeks, so you should get all the rewards even though you missed half of it”?

And before you accuse me of “Going to the extreme” by bringing up deaths in the family, etc, etc, look at this guy:

> It is sad eve replied to all of us in a mass response. In this response they did not take any unique circumstances of real life events which prevented some of us from playing during their designated timeframe. That is Real life events that are not excuses. I think, deaths, family emergencies, car wrecks or hospitalization etc. should be considered. I have no pity for those players who did not log in, were on a break, playing other games, or were inactive, etc. eve has been an active almost daily…

Can you point out an example?
