Evernus [3.8 release] - the Ultimate Market Tool

BPO detection is a mess in eve. I’ll try to straighten it up once final 3.0 gets released.

3.0 first release candidate is available here: https://bitbucket.org/krojew/evernus/downloads/evernus-3.0-rc1.zip

Small note: two users reported a crash, but didn’t respond when asked for log files. Therefore there might be a bug still there somewhere, and if you encounter it, please create a bug report with you log file. Otherwise your problem will NOT be fixed. I can’t emphasize this enough - problems do not solve themselves, and I need information to fix them. Do the whole community a favor and please attach any info you can in bug reports.

This issue seems to be back, switching to XML import fixed it for my client.

If someone is experiencing crashes during import - can you try https://bitbucket.org/krojew/evernus/issues/attachments/418/krojew/evernus/1522175410.88/418/evernus.exe and give feedback?

hi, as the last version give the same error now again https://i.gyazo.com/8b8ecaaa1a03aa1b0ae3c6d68fd1499a.png i thought it will be fixed some versions later. the is a dll missing…

Did you put it in the same folder as the previous one?

hi yes https://i.gyazo.com/af0538dd3bfbd269d79181bf0e8288d0.png

The file name is different from the first screenshot. You need to place the new exe in the folder of the old one.

ok what i do wrong^^ the old file was here C:\Program Files (x86)\Evernus\x64\evernus.exe i downloaded yours and pasted the new one in the folder, it asked me to replace. i clicked yes

I was unable to perform SSO on this version using Chrome as my default browser with AdAware popup blocker enabled. It might help others.

Then the missing dll file should be there - as you can see yourself, and it’s also visible on your screenshot.

the program always closed up on loading , something about the windows.

What is the exact error? Which version are you using?

A new version is available and hopefully fixes recent issues, including import crashes: https://bitbucket.org/krojew/evernus/downloads/evernus-3.0-rc2.zip

Please let me know if you experience any problems.

Note: Structure Hunters site seems to be down, which means there’s no way to import citadels. If they don’t come back up, feel free to spam https://github.com/ccpgames/esi-issues/issues with requests to finally make that available.

Hi,

When I try to enter new toon APIs, I keep getting invalid Token error, even tho i logged in via the SSO authentication window that pops in, wut do?

Thanks

Try the latest 3.0.

Getting the following error when Import All:

Dynamic exception type: class std::bad_alloc
std::exception::what: bad allocation

I am trying to import all for 7 characters

Can you create a bug report with your main.log file from the moment of the error? I think this is the last error to fix before the final release.

It is up on bitbucket

Version 3.0 is available now. It’s the first version which uses ESI for all data imports. This means you no longer need to burden yourself with legacy API keys – simply authenticate the application with Eve, and you’re good to go! To road to make this happen was a long and hard one. There were a lot of internal changes, mainly using new QtNetworkAuthentication module from the Qt framework… which turned out to be a bag of worms, with bugs popping up everywhere. Nevertheless, after many long evenings of fighting, everything seems to be stable and working. Working better than before, I can add. There’s still a lot of work to be done, some bugs might still persist, but the future is looking bright.

I would like to thank everyone who spend their time testing all those beta versions of 3.0. Without you (especially your log files :slightly_smiling_face: ) this release would never be possible.
