I was thinking of putting an event in Exordium where it is a concord vs 4 faction pirates like the guristas/blood raiders. The pirates are trying to get in, concord essentially saying no. Players then fight the pirates/concord without standings loss with proper rewards on the reward track and anti seagull protections. ---

Isn’t the whole point of Exordium that there is _no_ heavy competition between players? So that new players have a safe place to easily learn the basics of the game before they move out? ---

That way we can truly disappoint new players early on and not let them get their expectations up… Then when the rest of EVE piles on in Exordium to completely dominate and ruin the event for new players, they can get an accurate preview of what EVE will be like when they leave Exordium. Yes, there is a bit of cynicism here - but also a cold dash of hard realism. ---
