It’s not part of ‘The Plan’ But for general standings increases for a specific corp I find doing courier missions is a decent method. You get Storyline missions at the same rate as doing combat missions, and the courier missions can be completed in a T1 hauler and normally involve taking some stuff 1-5 jumps, which is pretty quick. I mostly do level 3s, as level 4s need more cargo space. ---

most often you can get the storylines quicker than combat missions.. ---

Would the standing gain from doing say a storyline on the back of 16 level 3 disty missions be the same as that of doing a level 3 security? ---

It doesnt look at the kind. What it looks at is just 16 of the same faction and level. So as long as your social is up. It also gives you the closest agent, so it may not be for the corp or even same type of mission. ---

Well, I can only speak from my experience which may not be the same as other players… It seems to me that the 16th regular mission kinda dictates which type of Storyline mission will be offered… In other words, if the 16th mission is Distribution, then a Security (usually Anti-Faction) mission will be offered for the Storyline… If the 16th mission is Security, then a Distribution / Trade mission like ‘Materials For War’ will be offered for a Storyline… Course that isn’t set in stone but for me, that’s usually how it goes… Anyway, thanks again for bringing the broken links to my attention… DMC o7 ---

For some reason I thought COSMOS missions were no longer supported or maintained by FC. ---

they are not for the most part, but its possible with Python 3 and moving code around, that could change.. though whether anything gets fixed or moved or damaged.. idk. ---

I’ve done that a few times and actually did mention it in ‘The Plan’… Course I didn’t specify which level of Agent to use… Anyway, this quote is from the ‘No Access’ section of the ‘Faction Standing Repair Plan’ listed in the Evelopedia link… > To gain more Storyline mission offers, complete courier missions for the highest Level Agent available in the Distribution Division. Courier missions can be easily completed very quickly. The goal here is to get back to working ‘The Plan’ as soon as possible.
