People are leavingā€¦ Active player numbers are decliningā€¦ It is very good idea to just tell leaving people shut the f upā€¦and tell them leave silent ā€¦ I donā€™t understand why they allow these postsā€¦ Exceptā€¦ this one i see generate 800 posts since createdā€¦ nice forum activityā€¦ keep up with good work guysā€¦ Moar toxicity, more resentment more intimidationā€¦ It is always description of being constructive in eve terminology . ---

That would require owning a citadel to use as a war HQ, and would expose the attacker to incoming wars and/or allies joining the target. It just wouldnā€™t work out for DMC the way you might envision it, even if DMC is a significantly better player than Gix (which I doubt). Would probably be easier to just gank him? ---

Yeah. I had it backwards. Gix is certainly deccable. Been a long time since I got involved in high sec fighting. I made my corp back in 2011 to troll forum rage queens into deccing me. Thatā€™s the last time I got involved in wars. Low is where you go to fight for fun. That said. Iā€™ll be happy to pitch in on a merc operation if DMC wants to really have some fun with Gix without needing a Citadel. Mr Epeen šŸ•¶ ---

I wish peeps could still war dec me. Hell if I would love the old system to come back. Iā€™m not about to buy a structure just to war. However Iā€™d love the old system to come back. If peeps were sore about me, war decc me all you want. Its content and fun šŸ˜ƒ Youā€™re assuming peeps actually would tho. I just checked, and heā€™s not. But he _could_ be fairly easily. @Gix_Firebrand I just researched this and confirmed that if you plop down a tower somewhere, you can become dec-able, though you wonā€™t be able to launch your own wars unless you own an actual citadel. I thought you had to own a citadel (or a POCO) to be eligible for incoming wars as well, but looks like thatā€™s not the case. Iā€™m going to plop down a tower somewhere later and see if anyone from the forums wants to sock it to the ā€œmean forum troll gankbear griefer belligerent undesirable.ā€ It would actually be somewhat inconveniencing since I use this character for hauling these days! ---

People say one learns from oneā€™s mistakes, but often things are over so quickly that its not always clear what the mistake was. ---

Itā€™s easy to practice on the test server, through duels with people you know, and with corporation members (have to set ā€œfriendly fireā€ to on). The problem with practice in EVE, however, is that it wonā€™t teach you the most important skills of all, which are aggression and calmness under pressure. Mechanical skills are a very minor component of victory compared to those two, and the only way to learn those skills is through continuous exposure to genuine risk. ---
