> You can also mine for the corp instead of your own, which means you share the income between all the miners

You obviously don’t play the industry side of the game. That has got to be one of the worst suggestions ever posted. At that point just remove the ability for Rorquals to mine and turn them back into boosters only and have them sit tethered providing boosts for the whole system.
Let the guys with 50 or 100 mining alts back into the belts oh wait, he has to share his ore with the guy who has 1 miner there - Yeah I can see that going down well. My Procurer is making the same isk PH as the guy who has a Rorqual AND the guy all round me with 20 or 30 mining alts - Yeah give me that.
Should Abyssls be run by 10 people who share the rewards? Should incursion sites have the amount of players opened up so anyone who can get in there gets a share? What about missions, lets make them shared rewards too, where you need 10 players to run a lvl 4.
Lets just change ALL pve content so that it is shared amoung 20 or 30 or more players.
Reality check needed here mate sorry. People mine to make isk. Miners have always been looked down upon in Eve but remember, without them - There is no Eve, the economy completely collapses - Tell every miner in the game he has to share his rewards with possibly hundreds of others - He ain’t gonna mine.
At the point your suggestion gets implemented, belt ratting in highsec in a T1 cruiser is a better option to make isk.

> Thar hardly matters at all.

Really?
Did you read what you posted before posting?
You just gave the perfect reason for why removing the ability to multibox Rorquals would be good for the game.
Here look;

- Barges and Exhumers don’t mine as much
- They are not as strong in DPS or tank
- They need much more manual input
- Subcap miners are far more vulnerable to attack
All things that would be good for the game.,.

> If you have to do twice the actions per account, you can only multibox half the number of accounts.

Sorry Nevyn but;
Years ago, before Rorquals were made “the isk machine”, I used to mine with 30 skiffs 1 freighter and a Rorqual tucked up safely in a pos.
And i was only a small fry - One of my corpies had 100 mining alts and although mining was a little more time consuming, the isk reward was good so made it worth the effort.

The problem is not how hard or easy it is to miltibox - The problem is that nothing right now is more productive than 30 to 50 rorquals per person. Until that is addressed, “scarcity” won’t achieve any real goals.

End scarcity too soon the Rorqul multiboxers win, drag it on too long and small operators (with just one or two rorquals) leave the industry - And mulitboxers win.
See something wrong here?

Multiboxing 10-20 barges in normal ore belts is not taht difficult… even when you use t2 strip miners.

He doesn’t have to. Where did I say that? It’s up to you to decide that. Stop being overly dramatic and don’t put words in my mouth that don’t have a place there. If you are not competent enough to share your mining with your corp, other people will be.

> [@Sgt\_Ocker](#):
>
> Tell every miner in the game he has to share his rewards with possibly hundreds of others - He ain’t gonna mine.

Considering that corp and alliance mining fleets exist and are very popular these days because you have to defend your Rorquals against the Kikimora menace, sharing mining activities is already a thing. It looks more like _you_ don’t play the industry side of EVE. And while not knowing anything you are just as unreasonable as most other people. And I find it remarkable how hostile you are against more player cooperation. But that is just me.

> [@Sgt\_Ocker](#):
>
> Really?
> Did you read what you posted before posting?

What does it have to do with Rorqual multiboxing? I never said it shouuld be harder. I said it should be completely unfeasible for mining. Making it harder alone by, for instance, reducing the rock size so that they have to move around more is not accomplishing anything besides creating more frustration since Rorquals still do not have a clear and defined role. Limiting their presence to 1 active indu core is an actual limitation to their damage potential for the economy while not hurting anyone and anything else, and it restores their role of the booster for the fleet. It also enables a lot of tactical possibilities with the PANIC module, which currently is just a delay button for one ship.

LOL, Corp and alliance mining fleets have been around for as long as I’ve played the game but never have i been in one where you “share” the income from them.
Most alliances have buy back programs that pay the INDIVIDUAL miner for his or her efforts.
Oh and a “mining fleet” isn’t going to “defernd” anything from any menace - The standing fleet of pvp’rs is there for that.
I find it remarkable how little you understand miners and mining.

> [@Zhalyd\_Lyehin](#):
>
> Limiting their presence to 1 active indu core is an actual limitation to their damage potential for the economy while not hurting anyone and anything else

I’m not sure you understand how the industrial core works - Your idea wouldn’t stop a guy with 50 Rorquals hitting an enormous and clearing it - Industrial core doesn’t affect a Rorqual unless it is under attack and needs the panic module.
1 Rorqual per anom (rorqs don’t mine in belts, they aren’t worth it especially since CCP nerfed them to oblivion) would mean everyone else who owns a rorqual makes no isk.
The only way to make multiboxing Rorquals unfeasable is at the development level.
They need to do something like removing “mine repeatedly” from the Rorquals drones.
Increase the amount and time per cycle drones mine but make it so they go idle after each cycle which would require input from the player controlling them. Those who are really OCD will still multibox a few but the guys with 30 or 50 will not be able to keep up with having to input “mine” regularly.
This would also cost CCP many subs payed by Plex so I doubt they will do it unless as a last resort but it is the simpliest “fix” for multiboxing Rorquals in such numbers it damages the economy while not hurting the guy who owns 1 or 2 and mines to fund his other game play.

Without Industrial Core active, a Rorqual cannot use the potential of Excavators. Without Industrial Core the Rorquual cannot use the full potential of its tank. Only in Industrial Core the Rorqual can compress the mined ore and thus maximize its cargo and ore hold capacity. Only in Industrial Core the Rorqual can use the full potential of the Mining Foreman Burst. Are you really sure you know what you are talking about? I am pretty sure you don’t have the slightest clue.

> [@Sgt\_Ocker](#):
>
> 1 Rorqual per anom (rorqs don’t mine in belts, they aren’t worth it especially since CCP nerfed them to oblivion) would mean everyone else who owns a rorqual makes no isk.

That is patently false because there are other mining anoms, potentially moon belts and normal belts. You seem to forget that “metas shift and change”. The same goes for corp mining fleets. Just like in Incursion fleets where you used to tip your off-grid booster out of the goodness of your heart for their important service, you would no be free to tip you Rorqual for providing the necessary boosts to mine more efficiently.

> [@Sgt\_Ocker](#):
>
> They need to do something like removing “mine repeatedly” from the Rorquals drones.

That right there is a change that would be so typical for CCP. Make things harder for actual players without accomplishing anything. Multiboxing under this kind of scenario is still a cinch and nothing was done about the ridiculous DPS from Indu Core’d Rorquals on grid. It is an irrelevant change because it changes nothing about the strengths of the Rorqual on grid. You would still have lots of Rorquals that can mine fast and are nearly untouchable compared to a normal mining fleet.

> [@Sgt\_Ocker](#):
>
> Oh and a “mining fleet” isn’t going to “defernd” anything from any menace - The standing fleet of pvp’rs is there for that.

Great. I have seen otherwise where a swarm of 15 Skiffs chewed some wannabe attackers that came in unprepared and ran with their tails between their legs and a few fewer ships in their fleet. But since you mentioned standing fleet: They would now have less time to prepare and get to you because barges and exhumers do not tank at all compared to Rorquals. A properly fitted and piloted Rorqual can extend the preparation and travel time for a defense fleet by at least double the PANIC time. With only barges and exhumers on field, the Rorqual has to make a tactical decision to either protect the fleet and make itself vulnerable to a bigger drop afterwards, or wait a bit longer with PANIC, sacrifice some barges/exhumers and be safer from a bigger drop.

You really don’t understand a lot about mining and mining fleets or about shifting meta.

You just keep showing - You don’t have a clue about nulsec mining

I’m sorry but it just isn’t worth the time trying to discuss this with you - You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

So, owner just havae to go fire it up every third month, no big deal. But after 6 months of not being “used”, un-anchor for anyone passing by to pick up. What I mean is, if you need it, then you keep it (by firing it up every once and a while).

The problem is there is too many structures in space, they want to reduce it. A 6 month period + a pick up so someone else can then re-anchor is not going to reduce the amount of overall structures in space.

They need to explode :].

The fair way to deal with assets may be like this one.
All players assets on Upwell structures in day of patch moves into “boxes”. If structures collapses the “box” moves to asset safety.
Player can interacts with the “box”:

- do nothing (doesn’t get access to items)
- move to asset safety
- or open
With last one move player agrees with all new mechanics of Upwell structures.
It wouldn’t be piggy style from devs.
PS Thanks for T-skirt 340 days of the waiting is over.
PSS. Mining business is now fashionable to discuss.

1. Mining lasers from players ships drill asteoids. Ore remains about an asteroid
2. drones delivers ore to ships.
3. exhumers are too power so its own drones cant collect all ore.
4. Rorq and orc suppot mining barges collecting ore themselfs.

IMHO while forever is too long 7 days is too short. Life happens and situations could easily take you away from a PC for a week. Yes I know some corps are huge and have lots of people maintaining structures but think of the small corps. To me this seems like a kick to the balls for the small guys.
