same here still. I saw the client update when i loaded it up this morning and still having crasehs on dx12 System: Ryzen 5700X3D 9070XT 64GB DDR4 RAM please fix šŸ™‚ Also very annoyed it took me 3 or 4 days of failure to find switching to dx11 resolved the issueā€¦ ticket responses were no help from support. ---

happens here too, 9070 non-xt, started happening when i updated my gpu drivers yesterday. works with dx11. Is Nvidia paying for this? EVE players need to purchase 50series if not already owning nvidia card? ---

Known workarounds: 1. Set EVE Online to launch in DX11 mode. a. In EVE Launcher, click the Cogwheel in upper right corner. b. In left sidemenu, click EVE Online. c. On the right, under Select DirectX version - in dropdown select DX11. 2. Rollback driver/adrenalin vesion to 26.7.1. a. Go to the [AMD Support page](https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html) and download an older version of the Adrenalin Software/Driver, like 26.7.1. b. Use Display Driver Uninstaller to uninstall all graphics related drivers and software. c. Install the Adrenalin v26.7.1 or Driver. d. Turn off auto-update for adrenalin. ---

Iā€™m facing the same problem too. Switching to DX11 didnā€™t fix it. Resetting the graphics card drivers didnā€™t fix it. Formatting the computer didnā€™t fix it. Iā€™ve already tested all my computer components, and theyā€™re in perfect working order. You gave me an idea with that possible solution of yoursā€¦ Could Adrenalin be the cause of all this trouble? I decided to reset my graphics drivers again and install just the driversā€”without Adrenalinā€”to see if that fixes itā€¦ ---

Well, sorry for the delay in replying; I tested it without Adrenalin, and yes, it seemed to fix itā€”until the same problem happened againā€¦ It wasnā€™t severe enough to shut down the computer like before, but it caused me to lose a fight and left my accounts stranded for over a minute; then things went back to normal, only for the same thing to happen againā€¦ What Iā€™m thinking now is that itā€™s definitely the game itself causing thisā€¦ Before the update on the 28th of last month, everything was running perfectly, but not anymoreā€¦ ā€œOh, but just switch to DX11 and itā€™ll be fixedā€ā€”no, that doesnā€™t fix it, and besides, my machine canā€™t handle the game in DX11. I hope the devs fix this as soon as possible; itā€™s been 9 days and thereā€™s still no fixā€¦ The most incredible thing is that I keep 8 accounts open simultaneouslyā€”with 30% CPU, 75% RAM, and 70% GPU usageā€”and then, out of nowhere, this happens. Processor: Intel Xeon E5-2676 v3 RAM: 32 GB DDR4 Graphics Card: RX 580 8GB System: Win11 ---

I also use myself a 16 year old machine on Linux, with 16 cores, 128GB of RAM and middle aged 12GB NVIDIA GPU. EVE is not extremely resource hungry and also can be scaled down to a minimum if you want to do heavy multiboxing. ---

Obviously if eve is the only one effected, the problem is with eve client, not the driver that works with everything else in the known universe. ---

Maybe, maybe not. Sometimes driver updates introduce regressions. Thatā€™s why AMD / Nvidia will often release drivers with hot fixes for specific games. ---
