# Game crashes in DX 12 since downtime 25/8/26

Known workarounds:

1. Set EVE Online to launch in DX11 mode.  
a. In EVE Launcher, click the Cogwheel in upper right corner.  
b. In left sidemenu, click EVE Online.  
c. On the right, under Select DirectX version - in dropdown select DX11.

2. Rollback driver/adrenalin vesion to 26.7.1.  
a. Go to the [AMD Support page](https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html) and download an older version of the Adrenalin Software/Driver, like 26.7.1.  
b. Use Display Driver Uninstaller to uninstall all graphics related drivers and software.  
c. Install the Adrenalin v26.7.1 or Driver.  
d. Turn off auto-update for adrenalin.
