When random bubbles in space was a mechanic, grids were 300km in size, so 200,000km off the station is still not ‘same grid’ per that epoch in history.

And such shuttles still die to midwarp grid smartbombing due to how warping works in the game. The distinction „entrance“ and „exit“ and „midwarp“ grids really is without a difference.
