Ganking is not always suicide ganking, but suicide ganking is always ganking Otherwise it sure as hell wouldn’t be called suicide _ganking_ And most people say _ganking_ when they talk about suicide _ganking_… Old habits die hard as they say 😉 ---

They are two distinct and separate acts, both semantically and mechanically. Boiling it down, _ganking_ is **legal** aggression against a target with a gang, and _suicide ganking_ is **illegal** aggression against a target with a gang. ---

They are not the same. No moreso than a honeymelon and a watermelon are the same. Yes, both are melons, but they are not the same. They dont look, taste nor smell the same. Nor do they have the same ideal growth conditions. * * * Ganking, and suicide ganking, are two distinct things which involve different mechanics. ---
