Ganking only needs multiaccounts and bots…no skill involved…a 10:1 is a 10:1 regardless how skilled the victim is…not seeing THIS as the real problem is part of the problem, not part of the solution… But i guess gankers do not use multiacccounting or botting in your world, hm? 🙂 ---

THIS is skill not mere numbers and defining it as ‘i’m just too good because i’m smart enough to pay for multiple accounts and so have the numbers as an(unfair in may eyes) advantage’… Because this is silly… ---

You’re wrong. It definitely takes some skill to execute a gank in highsec. Whether this is honorable, or if the skill required exceeds some limit which makes it ‘skillful’ rather than ‘easy’ is entirely subjective. You are welcome to continue to look down on gankers, but you are incorrect to say it requires no skill. ---

Nothing ‘subjective’ about this… You may say ‘only winners write the history’ but, and i mean this seriously and i’m asking for your REAL opinion, dont’ just sell me the ‘ganker opinion’, do you REALLY find a 10:1 win ‘satisfying’ or is the real 1:1 win you come out as winner with 5% hull not worth ‘more’ even in your eyes because there was an actual danger of losing? ---

The rush of piling in to some belt and all blasting a Hulk to bits and then having CONCORD come and sort you out is it’s own special flavour of victory. Is it better than 1v1 or 8v8 or blop/blob warfare? vOv I dunno, but I’m glad I’ve done it. ---

This thread has nearly spanned the entire year at this point and the only posts of value included herein are pictures of an otter, an AI kitten, and some hawt mombutt on a mountain. Ganking is real guys, it’s part of the game. If you hate being ganked, leave High Security space. You cannot be ganked outside of HS by definition. ---

Actually, I don’t recall any EVE developer or executive _ever_ saying that EVE was either fair or even supposed to be fair…or that people should get participation awards just for undocking. EVE has always been supposed to be a dystopian hell hole nightmare where every person is _entirely_ responsible for their own fate and path in the game and where no semblance of ‘fairness’ is ever assured. It is not supposed to be ‘fair’…it is supposed to be a place where you use your wits, friends, alliances, intrigue, cunning, and any advantage you can create. I do wish people like you would just go away and play Farmville instead. ---
