It would! Now… I’m pretty sure there is also documentary evidence that would support that. The next question that comes to mind (in order to stop the thread being a moot point) is that should there be limitations to this? Ill no longer call it a right or priviledge as emergent behaviour is a better description, though does this mean that limitations based on playstyle (solo, small gang etc) can be placed on it? If emergent, is it no longer a player’s right to be able to choose it? ---

Ganking is emergent gameplay, just like bumping is, just like bumping was, and like living in wormholes is. None of it was planned by CCP obviously, but players made their own playstyles in the sandbox. Mechanics were changed towards most, but people still do them (rip hyperdunking) despite all the people crying and complaining (see above for prime example) ---

The way I’d answer what I wrote would be to point out that CCP does not prevent anyone from taking aggressive action against any other player. Thus, I’d say ganking is an intended playstyle. ---

It is truly amazing how many lame excuses anti-gankers come up with for why they fail. It’s never their fault, the whole game, system and world is against them and it’s all unfair. I find this just contemptibly pathetic. ---
