To clear the air I think it’s time to make a statement about the veracity of these libelist claims, and tell the true story.
I was contacted by andrey (OP) about joining our alliance. This person was unknown to us and individuals trying to join a wormhole alliance raises red flags. People join corps, corps join alliances. Usually a renting corp in our program will only be accepted to alliance after a trial period of 3 months, after showing trustworthiness and common decency. This person wanted to pay an isk lump sum and have immediate acceptance, with the promise of renting down the line. As none of my directors were online to ask about this unusual and unprecedented request, I made up a figure for him to pay and directed him to sign into our auth so we could see what he was all about. Logs of converstation.
Reviewing his data it became immediately clear he had received private contracts of large quantities of PLEX, skill injectors, and bookmarks. The issuer of these contracts is an alt of a well known person to us, and could very conceivably have wanted a spy in our ranks. I cant go into detail how we linked this alt and this person, but in any case someone gifting you massive amounts of plex and injectors and going and trying to join HK is obviously a spy.
With the knowledge that andrey was indeed a spy, It was decided to kick him to the curb and try take as much isk from him as possible. He sent another 2B and then we blocked him. We then informed all of our corp and alliance members about this person. One of my corp mates then tried to extract more isk from him as can be seen in the screenshot OP linked with Jimmy Michaels. While I agree this is scamming, I can look the other way, as the target deserved it.
Now, knowing his toon is burnt forever he makes this pretty silly forum tirade to besmirch our business. I can only thank the people who posted in our support (most of which are undeniably not our alts)
I hope that any reader can see the stark facts here and not be put off buying or renting from Hard Knocks, it legitimately is the best isk and most fun in New-Eden.
This only hurts Hard Knocks in the long run. Making your rental program hit and miss on its authenticity will lose you a lot of clients. If you remember earlier this year when the Initiative took the Initiative and wiped you guys and you your allies were … lacking or non responsive. It’s not smart to run others out with scams when you need all the manpower you can get.
Strategically, this was a bad move if he’s going to spam Jita and the forums with this. Some one in leadership may want to consider … leading and discipline in some capacity for smearing the Alliance. Of course, again, that battle earlier this year showed a decisive lack of leadership, loyalty, and identity.
Oviously is an SCAM, Hard Knoks don’t even have the people to defend their stage (RIP RAGE) nor rent C6 wormholes systems… also most of them are now in null like Nullbears, others joined to LazerHawks and No Vacancies.
90% of the C6 are empty, low-powered structures and nobody want them… just pick up one, conquest and make isk.
You could at least have “escorted” a freighter with his stuff to a wormhole system and slaughtered him at the sun. Would have made for a more interesting story.

Ignore this guy he is an alt of HK that purposely posts when people get scammed to make it out it’s your fault to the community. It’s a tactic they always use.
In fact any other char on this post is probably an alt.
HK are one of the biggest scammers in Eve. Sorry you got hit by them.
Trust no one. However there are some very legit nullsec rental.
Sadly CCP still things this is cool when in fact scamming has no place in eve anymore and should be banned IMO
Wow. Still trying to the old wormhole rental scam still? I just can’t believe people would still fall for that. Then again you all did scam like several dozen people on wormhole rentals.
