One thing I forgot to ask was did you get this from within a site or from roaming npcs ? Would be handy to know for others ---

I shot an edencom scout a bit with a noobship and I got it, this seems very complicated by comparison. ---

I killed an Aegis Corp (part of Edencom) frigate and only got a negative standing against Aegis but no change to Edencom or Trig. Does the “Retaliating Entity” Aegis suffice? I’ll try the battleship next. ---

You need to look in your standings list for edencom and triglavian if you don’t have those then you need to go to a minor victory or edencom fortress system ---

So I flew out to an Edencom minor victory system to try to run this errand. The only NPCs I can find at the EDENCOM sites are Imperial Navy ships. Where are the EDENCOM ships? Can I just shoot the EDENCOM gunstars to get the Trig standings boost? ---

The Imperial Navy ships at EDENCOM sites are EDENCOM ships - the navies have delegated a portion of their fleets to EDENCOM efforts. Shoot a Navy Battleship at the site and you should be all set. If the gunstars are as lethal as the werposts, I would avoid using them for target practice. ---

So I shot at an Edencom gunstar to draw a fleet to me. Came back in my corvette and shot a battleship. Took my pod back to a station. No standing change. ---

Are you setting your Overview to show Edencom ships ? You need to enable ‘_Retaliating Amarr Entities_’, ‘_Retaliating Caldari Entities_’, ‘_Retaliating Gallente Entities_’ and ‘_Retaliating Minmatar Entities_’ in the ‘_Entity_’ section to see them, and they’re the only ones that will affect your Trig standings AFAIK. ---

Yep overview was set. I shot a gunstar to spawn a fleet. All were Retaliating Amarr Entities (AEGIS Corp). Came back and shot one of the battleships 3 times in my corvette. Corvette blown by a Retaliating Navy Crusader. waited at station in my pod. No change to standings. ---

AEGIS corp is weird and doesn’t give standings for EDENCOM. You need ships at a combat site. I’ve successfully done multiple characters via major cynosural beacon sites in Minor Victory systems; cuddle up to a battleship, align to your warpout, smack them with you corvette’s civilian gatling gun, and GTFO ---

Aaand now I have one character who just WON’T get standings no matter where I take her. Sigh. This really needs to be made more consistent. Guess I’ll throw her at the lowsec recon near Jita and whore on some kills there. EDIT: came in after a relog, finally. Once again a 0.0004 change for plonking a battleship. ---

Please continue to add anything you think might be relevant and please post any problems you have so others may help you get the standings. I’ve had some strange results in which some characters (4 of 6) got the standings changes, while the other two did not despite two attempts and waiting (logout and relog included) for over an hour. Will check again after downtime. ---

Since you need to boosh an EDENCOM ship, find an EDENCOM minor victory system (the Kybernaut Clade keeps a list of active systems on their website) and visit a beacon for something like a cynosural field to get ships that are part of EDENCOM instead of AEGIS for this standings adjustment. ---

I shot a battleship at an Edencom FOB. Standings changed to -.004 but no change to Trig. I’ll try a few more times. This industrial alt needs to get back to building. ---

The trig change should be a derived standing change showing on the Interactions tab (it will show as 0.0 Trig, -0.0 Edencom) ---
