Because while I have seen plenty of Tornadoes and haulers, I have yet to see any Vargurs waiting to throw themselves upon CONCORD’s sword. If you have proof otherwise, be it a video or zKill, I will accept that. ---

Including this one, there’s three active threads regarding ganking, and I’m narrowly defining “active” as having activity in the last 24 hours. Regardless of what they’re titled, all ganking threads devolve along the same path. ---

High Sec ganking accounts for only a small fraction (roughly **1–5%** ) of total destruction in High-Sec. Basically, it’s a nickel and diming operation at best. ---

Well…if you dock up in 0.5 seconds flat, you’ll miss all the Vargurs, Lokis, Hurricanes, etc, etc, lurking outside Jita…especially as many of them ( like myself ) hide behind the station. These people are there for a variety of reasons, generally not ‘ganking’. It could be wardecs, suspect hunting, baiting, etc. In fact the Vargurs and Lokis are themselves at risk of being ganked….and that is not infrequent. ---

My original post was referring to suicide ganking specifically. I said nothing about people using war decs. ---

Er, no….you stated… _“The danger of high sec is that suicide gankers have infinite safety from which to hunt a target. Which is why Jita always has half a dozen artillery Tornadoes sitting outside of the undock.”_ I have correctly pointed out that many of those Tornados are NOT specifically ‘suicide gankers’. I’ve done suspect hunting, for example, in one of those Tornadoes. ---

Which is why Jita always has half a dozen artillery Tornadoes sitting outside of the undock.”_ There is nothing in the comment above that relates to war decs. **The reason why Jita always has a half dozen arty Tornadoes sitting outside of the undock is to limit gankers attacking the ships at the undock.** The clone was trying to say that Tornadoes were being used on the Jita undock to gank. Scissoring words and rearranging them are no longer an effective means of anything. How ignorant would it be to sit on the Jita undock, in Tornadoes, under a war dec, knowing that the gankers are able to look at the current wars the Tornadoes are involved with, contact the opponent of the Tornadoes to then come to an agreement of either helping to attack the Tornadoes or distract the Tornadoes by attacking a freighter emerging from undock while the Tornadoes opponent attacks the Tornadoes. Probably too much effort for the gankers, clones, that is. ---

Losses to NPCs? Losses to wardecs? Lossess to faction warfare? Duels? EDI: there are also suspects getting killed, but a large portion of these is caused by ganking. Be it killrights or stealing the loot after a gank. Similarly to losses to CONCORD, majority of them happens because the player that got ganked tries to get revenge and attacks with red security on the ganker without activating his killright first. What you claim is a commong belief and it gets repeated by you gank-haters a lot, yet I never seen any data backing it up. ---
