That will become the norm until they find a way to make that a risk as well. The fix, of course, will be something stupid like “in order to log off, you have to take on the Criminal flag and sit in your logout location with no modules active until it times out, then you’ll be logged out, but your ship will remain in space for another 30 minutes with a cynosaural type warp-to beacon.” ---

I want to party with Hilmar. Like, I want to go on a _literal_ overnight brennivin-fueled bender with him, and _completely_ mess up downtown Reykjavik. We’d go to all of the clubs, and do lines of hakarl right off of some Inuit strippers’ asses. In the morning, I’d wake up outside of Hallgrimskirkja with a bunch of dried-up blood on my face and a pair of scissors stuck inside my shoulder, and have no idea how it all happened or how I got there, while tourists gawk and snap pictures of me. Then I’d make it back to my hotel room, and find him there, completely sober and multitasking writing poetry while making pitches to Korean investors on Skype. He’d tell me that my phone has 37 missed calls from my country’s embassy, but that he took care of it. He’d ask me if I checked out the Hyperion tattoo I got the night before, and I’d have no idea what he’s talking about, but when I look, it’s definitely there. Then we’d play Smash on the Switch until it’s time to go to the airport and catch my flight home. There would be a live polar bear in the bathroom for some reason. ---

If they want to deal with NPC stations, the easiest route to destroying all the assets stored for years is to introduce asset entropy. The longer it sits, the more it is subject to degrading over time. Ships lose x% of their effectiveness and defense per year that they’ve sat and not undocked, and require repairs to maintain in 100% shape (isk sink). Ores lose x% of their reprocessing returns over time. Same for anything other than special edition commodities, etc. Considering that they’re even discussing it again makes me wonder just how much “stuff” is in storage, and whether or not super high value assets like Guardian Vexors present a coding problem that is keeping them from moving forward in some ways. With that in mind, they’ll chose to completely wreck the game in order to force the destruction to be via PvP, which will result in Eve Online only being a viable game for corporations that can defend their assets 23/7. Within a couple years, they’ll be scratching their heads on how to fix a game that now has next to no PvP because there is only one alliance that controls all of New Eden. ---

Yay more destruction… Where would we be allowed to dock? Or are they going to make it where we can only dock at POS for a charge? Where would the player manufacture then? In space or…? He would have to own a structure? Does CCP only want billionaires to stay in the game? Because I personally won’t pay to dock, repair, insure, redo my hair, stock and manufacture. I can do that in other games for free. ---
