Limits are made to embolden us to reach and break them. Today, a milestone has been reached: the 100’th Keepstar loss on zkillboard. And the alliance shamed with this distinction is „Test Alliance Please Ignore”, through the „Upvote” corporation. The Keepstar was aptly named “Worthless Dropstar” and the kill took place today – 2021.08.15, in the E3OI-U solar system, in Delve, during „World War Bee 2” or „The Bietnam War” (now The Imperium calls the conflagration). It was a 207.88 billion ISK loss. Impressive. I like the shockwave it generated. Reminds me of the shockwave in Star Trek Undiscovered Country when Praxis explodes. Could some ships have gone boom as well with such a large explosion? Can nearby ships be destroyed? ---

Oh I don’t care with whom, lol. I just found it strange that a logical thing like a huge explosion damaging nearby ships would anger people but the destruction of the keepstar wouldn’t anger the owner but you said “possibly” so I’m fine with that answer. I would’ve said “definitely” but that’s just me. ---

The ships are owned by individual players, that keepstar by the executor corp, so it’s possibly written off as a consequence of war. ---

Collateral damage, eh? lol How much does a Keepstar cost? It’s probably in the billions, right? It may be written off but it had to hurt. I’d like to find out more about it. Like, is that the end of a war? The size of the corporations involved and such… Guess ZKillboard would be a good place to start looking into it. Any other source of info besides ZKillboard? ---

Let’s see, if each one is about 200 billion ISK with base fittings (no rigs), and a 15,400 PLEX package is about 45 billion ISK (using 2.9 million per PLEX ratio as a middle ground between recent historical prices and current price), a single Keepstar is worth about $2,240, so a hundred of them would be around $224,000. Using the same methodology, CODE. has inflicted over a million dollars in damages. ---

The game is in a horrible state right now it’s not surprising people are just straight-up leaving and don’t even care about their assets. But as long as nullsec CSM like @Brisc_Rubal are fine who cares?? Bring up them wormhole improvements yet brisc, are we just going to watch the game slowly die? ---

Even the CSM don’t care anymore. Last year @Brisc_Rubal and @Mike_Azariah attempted to give monthly updates. Not anymore. Probably because the meetings are nothing but meh. ---

That’s not at all what happened. The Keepstar was transferred to Goons and they let it go abandoned cause it was gonna ■■■■ out lots of loot. This has nothing to do with CCP or the state of the game. ---

It’s not that we don’t care, it’s that I found my taking notes was interfering with my ability to provide feedback and to actually want to sit through the meetings, so I stopped taking notes. They weren’t really that useful honestly, and I really didn’t want to reward members of the council who did it bother showing up with cliff notes anymore. They can watch the videos if they want.
