o7 For the last month I’ve been hooked (sorry, only pun I promise) on solo/duo skyhooking. The good times have been welping T1 battleships and coming home with multiple billions in the hold. The bad times were burning jumps to a hook someone emptied on its last cycle, or landing in a hornet’s nest for a bay that was barely worth the trip. So I built HookWatch, with a little help from Claude ofc. The main difference from the in-game map and the other skyhook tools I tried: they mostly tell you what’s open right now. HookWatch tries to tell you which hooks are actually worth flying to, what’s opening next, and the best way to hit several of them in one run. It plans the run, values the bays, picks a route through Thera and Turnur, and checks the intel, all in one place instead of five tabs. It shows you which hooks are open now or opening in the next couple of hours, how long each one has left, and warns you if there’s not enough time to finish the raid. Every hook gets a predicted next window with a confidence rating. The predictions get checked against ESI when the window actually opens, so they get better over time. Bays are valued at Jita prices, and it picks up on raids, so a hook that got cleaned out 3 days ago won’t show as full. Give it a starting system and how long you’ve got, and it’ll pick the hooks and the order for you. You can sort by most loot, isk/hour, quietest systems or shortest trip. Routing uses gates plus live Thera and Turnur connections. There’s also intel for each system: recent kills, cloaky hunters, gate camps, ratting, and what hours it’s usually busy. Behind the scenes it checks ESI’s raidable skyhook list every 5 min and logs every window, including hooks that get raided early. 28 days in, it’s tracked about 3,400 hooks, 18,000 windows and 3,700 raids, and it’s still going. Pricing: 48h free trial (one per player, char needs to be 30+ days old). After that it’s 350m isk per 30 days, paid in game with a personal code and usually credited within an hour. Login is EVE SSO and it doesn’t ask for any scopes. It’s still very much a work in progress, so bugs, feedback and feature requests are all welcome.
