In faction warfare there is an option to join these factions but I don’t get it exactly how since I’ll have to travel to their systems, dock and sign up, but I believe I’m at bad terms with them since I killed a lot of NPCs while missioning. Once you join, is there anything specific going on that is unique and different from 4 starting empires? Are there some corps that mainly operate within their territory? ---

Similar to the empire you need to have a certain standing. With empire its 0.0 unmodifed or higher. With pirate its -2.00 unmodified or higher ---

The Pirate Factions all have Epic Arcs that can be run from 3 different avenues standings wise for each pirate faction. Do these, buy some glamourex boosters for better standings gain, max skills for standings gains, rinse and repeat until you have good standings and join. @DeMichael_Crimson and the standings repair plan he can link or google search for it yourself. ---

Which luckily with the boost the pirates give one arc can almost fix it. Or at least one arc done on your own and one shared @Haatokka_Oni_Makanen for a small price, United Standings Improvement Agency can fix your standings for you ---

I kinda wish CCP would let you do all 3 arcs for each pirate faction every 3 months if you could potentially do them all standings wise or at least the 2 empire faction routes. Would give more options to get good standings a bit faster. Because then raising empire faction standings through the main epic arc would allow more players access to the pirate arcs. ---

Huh? Theres only one arc. Where do you get 3? Theres 3 ways to access it, but its still the same arc. As long as you never lose standings with the empire corporation, youll have access to the pirate arc. pirates give out a lot more standings than empire does… ---

Yes I wish there were 3 separate arcs for each pirate faction, with access the same way through 2 empire routes and then the main pirate faction standings, where you could do all 3 every 3 months or perhaps only the 2 empire faction routes might be a better idea. I can dream. Honestly, as an edit, Id also love each empire faction to have their OWN arc rather than a generic one with 4 possible endings. Keep the generic one but lower the standings gain for that and then increase the standings gains and make them slightly more challenging for the 4 empires and only in that empire’s space. ---

you obvious have no clue what you are talking about here. the SOE arc, gives very less standings than the main empire arcs… faction standings are meant to be hard to be gained. thats why there is only one way to share the standings with someone, and why it takes so long to get the standings back via the epic arcs. ---

Dont bother. The NPC pirates in your own faction will still attack you no matter what standing you have. Previous character I had was running Sansha missions but still had to dodge Sansha rats shooting at me when I tried mining out there. ---

Well yea regular pirate rats will always attack you. Like belt rats etc Belt rats are not coded to follow standings. ---
