A _bittervet_ is kind of a meme — basically a grumpy old man shouting “Get off my lawn.” The use of it in the title is sardonic. While my long-winded post might come off as a bit too serious, it’s actually packed with practical advice that should serve anyone well - if they choose to take it on board. That said, the real purpose was to offer it up to the C&P regulars as a subject for discussion and critique. I’m new to this particular style of writing, and as a former regular here in C&P, I figured this was as good a place as any to dip my toes back in. With luck (and some well-placed sarcasm), any discussion and feedback will help me sharpen both the content and my delivery in future posts. ---

The orca pilot yes, but none of the exhumers. I have to compress in my Hulk every 80 seconds. I can’t turn on a movie or my lasers shut off and my drones return to my ship and orbit uselessly. ---
