The funniest thing about this whole argument? A true “new player” wouldn’t care if they lost their corvette and pod - they instantly respawn in a new corvette and pod. ---

Solstice, because of a few simple facts… 1. they -know- where they send new folks on rookie training missions 2. they -chose- to place a major NPC war situation in at least one of those known areas… 3. they -chose- to make it possible to kill/pod kill brand new players in a rookie/tutorial area… ---

You can not invent a “They” into this conversation, because these “they” do not actually exist. You just assume “they” exist. I’m asking you why you believe that there’s an actually significant amount of newbie griefing going on. Why would CCP not do something about it … … if it was actually significantly harming the retention rate? ---

You believe that CCP does not know about significant newbie griefing going on. Okay. CCP is the name of a company. Just like literally all of the rest of the world I address a corporate entity by its name. This is getting really boring. You don’t even manage to actually answer simple questions directly. You’ve joined this forum a few hours ago, solely to rant about a personal experience you disagree with … … and that massive narcissism of yours inflates it into a huge problem affecting a significant amount of new players negatively. It doesn’t. It’s just you. Really. Just get over it … … or quit the game. I can savely say that CCP does not care if you don’t like the experience … … because there’s plenty of other people who don’t have these issues you seem to be having. There is literally no evidence of newbie griefing going on … … because othewise there would be a wealth of evidence readable on the forums and reddit. There is no evidence. Not because people just outright quit … … but because CCP has well established that this form of newbie griefing on a big scale does not actually exist. They know this, because they’ve spent many years learning how to actually gather behavioural data … … so they can algorithmically analyse what’s actually going on in the game. All of this … … is because you’ve gotten ganked by someone who didn’t know you’re a new player … … and you not simply reporting him and moving on. No, for you this is _personal_. Congratulations. I hope you’re a proud adult in real life … … because _here_ you’re a sensitive crybaby. Seriously … in all the friendliness I can offer … … just get over it … … or quit the game. ---
