I cannot believe someone genuinely just claimed that CONCORD is Federal Navy.

> [@Andreus\_Ixiris](#):
>
> _ **the Federation did not start the war** _.

I am fairly confident the first reopening of hostilities occurred prior to Caldari Prime when a certain Federation Admiral rammed a Caldari station in the heart of Lonetrek in a terroristic attack that killed hundreds of thousands.

> [@Andreus\_Ixiris](#):
>
> _that’s not your choice to make on our behalf._ You made that very clear - as _was_ your right - when _you left the Federation and we didn’t_.

Yes, it isn’t our choice to make you the Federation’s venting bag because we left. Although I seem to have to constantly reiterate that a sizable portion of your people did want to leave but were exiled into an intentionally torched Syndicate by a tyrant. This continued idealization by Fed educated Intaki that they never wanted to leave or that the Syndicate region exiles were all just conveniently Intaki ethnic super criminals is honestly disturbing. Here’s a quote from one of your own historians.

> “We were afraid of those “in power”. (…) [Violence was] never threatened openly. But when our fellow Federation citizens were bombarded, it was not a huge leap of reasoning to believe that any others expressing rebellious attitudes would be similarly dealt with. Whether it was true or not, I don’t know. But we were afraid, and so many remained quiet and sought other ways to continue. Some left. Others became politicians.”: _Vremaja Idama_

> [@Andreus\_Ixiris](#):
>
> And I should instead trust the intentions of the people who - and I feel like I’m going insane repeating this - auctioned off our entire region to the highest bidder?

It becomes even more disturbing when Intaki continue to thump about an auction that was never particularly enforced and was effectively nullified and voided when the tyrant responsible was ejected and hunted by the State. There is little difference between Heth and Duvailer, the chief being that only one was hunted down until presumed dead, and the other was simply forced to step down and as far as I am aware never faced actual justice or punishment for his atrocities.

You tell me which is more trust worthy.

Oh, so you’re a traitor! Gotcha, just good to know who I’m dealing with. I’ll tell ya, I operate in the area myself, and I hear a lot of misgivings about Intaki who kiss the Fed’s boots too much. But who am I to tell you what your own people think of you? I’m sure you don’t care, you’ve got much bigger masters to please.

The State did what? Auctioned off your… systems? Or auctioned off development of those systems? Of which, Intaki was just one. And I believe Ishukone, for all their faults, have been pretty light-handed in overseeing the Intaki people.

Which of course leads into the fact that if the Federation gave so much of a damn about the Intaki, why would they even allow the world in the CEMPWA at all? Usually, people don’t gamble with things we care about. At least not unless they’re particularly dumb. And as someone who runs a few casinos, I’ll tell you this: there’s a lot of particularly dumb people. Especially in the Federation.

Why would I go back to hell when I’m making such a profit in Dodixie? There’s a certain… _satisfaction_ in selling my product in the heart of the Fed.

CONCORD is not responsible for the internal system security of its member states.

> I am fairly confident the first reopening of hostilities occurred prior to Caldari Prime when a certain Federation Admiral rammed a Caldari station in the heart of Lonetrek in a terroristic attack that killed hundreds of thousands.

Was the bombing of Nouvelle Rouvenor - an act committed by extremists that was similarly condemned by the Caldari government - also thusly an act of war?

> Although I seem to have to constantly reiterate that a sizable portion of your people did want to leave but were exiled into an intentionally torched Syndicate by a tyrant

5000 people. 5000 people were exiled to Syndicate. It was also not “intentionally torched.” You’re just making things up now.

> It becomes even more disturbing when Intaki continue to thump about an auction that was never particularly enforced and was effectively nullified and voided when the tyrant responsible was ejected and hunted by the State.

“We did a very bad thing, but it’s okay because we didn’t actually follow through with it and then stopped doing it.”

I’m putting you on mute. There’s really no reason to continue talking to you.

As far as the Federation, you so brazenly uphold as the greatest thing since sliced bread, was concerned it was.

[Records clearly indicate the Federation Navy razed existing colonies in Syndicate before banishing the Intaki exiles to it in the hopes of killing them by proxy.](https://universe.eveonline.com/lore/poitot)

> “A small Navy task force was sent ahead of the exile fleet with orders to raze every settlement to the ground, condemning the prisoners aboard their own ships. Shortly after the Navy had jumped back to Placid, explosions rocked the jump gate’s superstructure causing irreparable damage.”

“The Federation did a very bad thing multiple times to us intentionally, but its okay because they’re the Gallente Federation.” See how juvenile that sounds?

Namas and greetings all,

I am sure my Suresha will shortly have words on this address and the overall occupation of Intaki.

I would go on about initial treaties with the federation emphasising our wish to not be occupied in this way, our agreements that an external body would receive the franchise of our security and not the Federation Navy.

However I have no words right now which truly express my feelings, last year the military presence on the ground in Intaki grew massively and now construction sites constructing by the Ida I know not what are littered throughout my home.

As the Ish Sainika I am in charge of any military action that must be taken so I will now take the time to think on this matter.

Any who feel strongly in opposition to these efforts please come and stand by me when the call goes out whatever form it may take.

Please note the ILF is recruiting and we may need your arms now more then ever.

I am curious what Intaki natives think of the president’s stated reasoning for the securing of the constellations.

The events in Turnur show that the Caldari could plant a stellar transmuter in your system and Concord would affectively do absolutely nothing while you are turned into molten rock in the name of some nebulous scientific experiment.

Personally I was rather convinced by the argument, even though I am by no means someone who is affected in the matter.

I don’t think the State would do such a thing. Even if you preclude morale reasons, it’s a horrible business decision too. Intaki is a significant baseliner trade hub and the investment it would take to construct and defend a Stellar Transmuter would be far too high in a region as turbulent as central Placid is.

If the State were to test a transmuter anywhere, it’d likely be a nigh nearly uninhabited system on our side of the CEMWPA zone. You cant tax corpses nor put them to work in your businesses afterall.

Except unlike Gallentean swines, Caldari do not commit any genocide.

“We must make the Caldari silence permanent.” was it?

Was an absolute extreme response to a rapidly escalating, never-before-dealt-with situation that led to some of the darkest days in both of our collective people’s histories. So horrible, in fact, that even the people of the Federation reacted adversely to the aftermath and this event has gone down as one of the biggest reasons for the deposition of the U-Nats party that has never risen to power in the Federation since.

A struggle the State has recently had to contend with, as well.

We’re not, as a people or polity, a maniacal, genocidal group. We’re also not infallible.

Difference being that when Duvailer issued that order, your people obeyed with glee.

When a similar, lesser order came from Heth, the Shiigeru prefered to sacrifice itself instead of carrying it out.

Speaks for the different moral integrities of our peoples, I suppose.

I wasn’t there but I would contest that everyone answered glee over the order. The U-Nat militarists in power perhaps but not everyone.

The Federation made a lot of mistakes in its infancy but it has learned a great deal from them and has become better for it. I wouldn’t suggest that these related incidents speak of different moral integrities, merely that we’ve both learned from the lessons of our past.

Tibus Heth ordering Admiral Yanata to detonate _Shiigeru_’s Doomday in the atmosphere of Caldari Prime, specifically to denude the planet of life and leave the Gallente nothing.

Heth was the lawful Executor of the State at the time.
Killing everyone on a planet definitely counts as genocide.

Admiral Yanata refused, to her credit, but she _was_ given the order to commit genocide by the lawful government of the State, and was required to commit ritual suicide as a disciplinary action for refusing to commit genocide.

As a result, we can, in fact, state that at the very least, there have been times when the State _would_ do it, even if most Caldari _wouldn’t_, and so cannot rule out the possibility that it might be willing to again, in the future.

> [@Kitaula\_Kuusa\_Jouhinen](#):

> Are you really trying to say the two are the same?

For the record? Not even close. The Caldari mostly just want the Expansionists to not expand in _them_, and that is a noble and proper cause, as was the liberation of Caldari Prime.

But strictly speaking, you _did_ ask for a citation that the State ‘would’ commit genocide… and since they’ve attempted it once… well, there’s that. 🤷

Actually, history records that many experienced Federal Navy officers resigned in protest, and this departure of competent personnel was one of the contributing factors to us securing the space around the homeworld for the evacuation, in conjunction with the sacrifice of the Kairiola.

Similarly, many Federal worlds rose up in protest against the decision, and were then occupied or blockaded by the Federal military.

Greetings Summit,

It is with cautious optimism that I announce an update to the ongoing violence between I-RED personnel and Federation Navy forces.

It took some time to come to negotiations, especially with the volatile nature of this situation; however, our discussions have finally bore fruit. As of 00:00 on this day, YC124.11.16, teams of diplomatic counsel from both Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive and the Federation Navy established an official ceasefire. As a gesture of good will, I-RED will also be withdrawing its forces from the area.

Our work is not done, as negotiations are still underway regarding a potential prisoner exchange. In addition we are also still immensely concerned about Intaki and stand by our allies while many of them continue to ask for answers from the Federation. Despite these concerns, we are hopeful for a resolution and know that, however events may pan out, the Intaki people and the history that shaped them will remain a beacon of perseverance and strength.

Julianni Avala
CFO, Head Diplomat
Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive
