# I still feel like the "stare at dscan for 45 minutes" meta game doesn't respect my time

I always found it fun, back in NRDS Providence, to instruct newer pilots on how to use dscan. Usually one could hear “jaw bone hits the floor” 🤣

Talking about an ingame tool that allows you a good level of control, well, that’s dscan. Nuff said
