- be me, a PvPer playing EVE in 2023 - super-capitals suddenly allowed in high-sec - three days later, CODE uses 240 Catalysts to gank a level 4 mission-running Leviathan - with 43 billion ISK of officer gear on it - victim second-mortgaged his house to buy it with PLEX - lawsuit against CCP filed - Kotaku writes a scathing article about the game - lawsuit becomes class-action after a bunch of gank victims read it and file grievances - no legal precedent, and lots of public outcry - ultra-liberal NYC circuit rules for plaintiff under “cyber-bullying” statutes enacted under President Harris - appeals aren’t even considered - CCP/PA pays damages to continue to be able to do business in the US, goes broke, and gets bought by Tencent - PvP completely removed from game, and loot crates added - not over yet, Supreme Court case filed - seven ultra-liberal Harris-administration justices overrule the two conservatives to hear it - prior case used as precedent to criminalize violence in video games as a felony - most of Europe follows suit - obscure statutes pulled to retro to seven years - ■■■■, I popped a barge in 2021 - my name is on a subpoenaed list of prior offenders - on automatic probation, lose my job, but at least no mandatory jail time like all the CoD and PUBG players - wife leaves me, court gives her 100% because of my felony - no reason to stick around anymore, decide to join the one-way Mars mission - dedicate myself to it, and grind my training sessions every day like a fanatic - now 2031, launch day comes, feel emotionally fulfilled for first time in many years - get aboard the brand new, expensive spacecraft - many other crew members in “same boat” as me - look to chair on my right, and smile at Aiko - Aiko nods and smiles back in return, then we look ahead and prepare for liftoff - one of the launch controllers is the pilot of the barge I popped in 2021 - secretly offsets thruster propellant pressure during launch sequence, causing an explosion in mid-air - emergency escape capsule fails to deploy parachute - mfw I get griefed by someone blowing up my spaceship without my consent - can’t even post on forums to complain about it because I’ve been podded ---

You forgot - Launch spectator yells at ship during launch as it careens over and explodes - Posts it on USAKillboard and brags about how they “solo took out Aiko and Destiny” ---

> [@Kelon](#): > > Posts it on USAKillboard and brags about how they “solo took out Aiko and Destiny”… …when everyone knows neither of those forum “warriors” have been seen in-game in years. Mr Epeen 🕶 ---
